anticheat for transformice |

Many players are cheating nowadays, especially in racing mode. and most of them never get banned, there is a bunch of hacks that aren't patched yet (pulo alto, leve, dll, agil, speed, fly, etc...) and i noticed that games like fortnite or starcraft have an anticheat-system before login into the game so is it possible for a game like transformice to encode something like this ? if not, can you at least patch some of the hacks (the discrete hacks like pulo alto leve agil because a lot of mods can't even tell the difference with those hacks) and let the ones that are obvious like fly speed etc...to the moderators ? |

i'm sure they have tried to patch them out but maybe its not possible with everything being client side. you are right about mods not being able to spot hackers. I think a lot of them have just not played enough or don't know the game well enough to be able to spot them quickly. |

The hacks you mention have been patched many many times, but with every patch it only takes a matter of days, or even just hours before these patches are worked around. The whole policy around hacks is patch whatever programs are around on a case to case basis, instead of preventing people from structurally creating these hack programs. The latter seems to be impossible to do due to the way the game is built. Also, if moderators can't distinguish discrete hackers from regular players according to you, what makes you think you (and others) can? How do you know you're not simply just mistaken and are seeing things that aren't there? |
