#snatch Welcome to brand new official minigame teaser, #snatch! Snatch is a game based on stealing the cheese where mice fight for a single cheese. There is only one cheese on the map and every mouse has set their eyes on it. Snatch the cheese before others do and run! But obtaining the cheese isn't merely enough, others can steal it from you! Your objective is to survive and get to the hole, before you lose the cheese. You can use power-ups to protect yourself from your opponents. Use those power-ups strategically to give yourself an advantage and weaken the crowd behind you. Each time a cheese is stolen, the thief will teleport into a random location - so will the hole! So be prepared for ceaseless chases! Gameplay Press Space key to steal the cheese from the thief. Usage of the Power-ups: Power-ups are special abilities given to the thief. Place your power-ups when the power-up timer is full. Use Z/X/C keys to activate your power-ups. | Press X to create a Death Trap! Careful: you also die if you interact with that! | Press C to create a power up you can use to updraft. | Press V to create a power up you can use to dash. Here, we also offer 2 different gameplay styles to players. » Click Mode is the default mode. You have to choose where to spawn the power-up with mouse click after you press the key. » Keyboard Mode is a faster but a more strict mode where pressing a power-up key creates one instantly right in front of you (or behind you). To activate this mode, disable the click mode from your profile. We, Keinja & Neonstrayzer & Hotspotower, have started developing an earlier version of #snatch back in 2015, but unfortunately we couldn't finish it due to us leaving the game. After 7 whole years; we, Hotspotower & Neonstrayzer, decided to revisit the project and finish it. We have developed #snatch from scratch and it is here for you to enjoy! #snatch was updated to v.1.6! • Added one new power-up: Invincibility
• Players will go into AFK mode when they die automatically. The stats will not be increased during the AFK mode. • Power-up set the player currently uses will be shown at profile page. • Added language support for BR community. (Thanks to Star#8558) • The map rotation have been improved. • Now players’ stats will be saved instantly if any stat changed instead of not saving until the player left the room. v1.5 We've updated the #snatch with many new features including permanent stats in v.1.5! • Added two new power-ups: Freeze and Teleporter. » Play 200 rounds to unlock the freeze boost (For a short time unlocking requirement was lowered to 50 rounds) » Become thief 200 times to unlock the teleporter boost. • You can track your power-up unlocking progress in power-ups menu. • Players now can change their power-up sets and offset settings from the renewed power-ups menu. • The players' stats and data now will be saved. (At least 5 players needed to be saved.) • Added an explosion to the area where thief gets teleported to disperse the players waiting the next thief in potential teleport areas. • The power-up timer will be instantly filled after becoming the thief when there are at least 8 alive players in the room. • Added a new stat that is tracking how many times has player became thief. Once the stat was increased, it won't be increased again for 40 seconds. That means even if you become thief more than once in less than 40 sec, the stat will only count this once. The cooldown will be reset every new round. v1.3 A few improvements have been made, especially the keyboard mode. • Added ghost feature for the keyboard mode. Pressing the boost keys will select the boost and show the player where the boost will be spawned. Pressing to the same key one more time will spawn the boost. • Added language support for ES. Use !lang ES command or change it via your profile page. (Thanks to Stargazing#0010) • Added !offset command for the keyboard mode (we're currently testing it so your off-sets will not be saved). • Added !mapreview @mapcode command for the mapmakers. The command will activate the map review mode. (The command is only usable in tribe houses.) • Added !powerups command. This UI currently shows only info about the power-ups. But the page will be improved soon. Players will be able to manage their power-ups with this page. • Some UI improvements. v1.2 Changes: • The previous teleport area won't be chosen as the next teleport area anymore. • The death power-ups will be removed after 5 sec. • All the power-ups spawned by the thief will be removed when other players steal the cheese. • The key for the speed power-up was replaced with V key. (Old one was Z) • ESC key will allow thief to cancel the power-up selection in the click mode. • The sync delay of the all players have been greatly decreased for more consistent x-y positions. • The game time will be increased to 180 seconds if there are more than 12 players in the room. (Default is 150 seconds.) • The power-up timer will be lowered to 3 seconds if there are more than 12 alive players in the room. Some players are trapping themselves by mistake or on purpose, even I trapped myself like that. There are two solutions: either you edit the maps to make no dead ends or add time to the skull token like 5s or 10s.
