Hello, Survivors!

What's new in this version?

Big changes ahead !

We are going to revamp the game's economic model. *boom*. A lot of those changes are about clothes.

Up until now, only a few selected clothes were available at the merchant's shop. If you ever wanted a specific full set, you had to wait and hope for it to appear in the list (which wasn't exactly optimal, you'll agree)

From now on, the clothes will have a chance to be dropped! The clothes improvment kits will henceforth cost reputation or strawberry coins. More details about those changes:

  • The sewing kits have been deleted.
  • It is now possible to drop clothes on the level up interface.
  • The thematic zombies (policemen, firefighters etc) have a chance to drop their thematic clothes.
  • Bosses, peruvian infecteds and secret passage chests can drop rare clothes.
  • Normal infected have a slight chance to drop normal clothes.
  • You can salvage common and rare clothes through the research workshop.
  • The clothes owned before the updated will automatically be improved to the 4/5 level (except the character creation clothes).

It is now possible to buy resources at Jeffrey's.
You can buy there once a day, in reputation or strawberry coins.

New secondary quests:

Here they go, the new secondary quests!!

For this patch, th emaps welcoming the new quests are:
- Walker river
- Sacramento suburb
- Arizona Jurassic Museum

Bug fixes and edits:

  • The level up reward that needed a stock building (gas fuel...) is fixed!
  • Items looted during an adventure now reappear every day, like other maps.
  • Skills are correctly deactivated when they are replaced.

Don't hesitate to give us your feedback in this topic, or join our Discord !

See you soon!

Seems like an unfair update. Many people passed so many stats upgrades at level up to stock the sewing kits for their clothing upgrade in the future. Do you have any compensation for them, or are you just gonna delete their stock sewing kits and make all of their effort worthless? The answer I get will help me decide easily if my previous strawberry purchase will be the last time to support you. Thank you in advance.

"The clothes owned before the updated will automatically be improved to the 4/5 level (except the character creation clothes)."

This comment concerns me. Are you changing the "levels" of clothing? Will my exceptional clothing change levels? Will anything happen to my battle/protection/support kits inside of my clothing?

To answer all of you above:

  • What will happen to sewing kits equipment that one has?
  • Soon enough they will be sellable/tradable in exchange of Reputation, along with other sellable Resources.

Things that weren't mentioned here is that Sewing and Resources which were needed before for upgrading a clothing, will now get replaced with Fraises or Reputation

Bare with them: Dead Maze is already a free game and they need somehow a way to earn money from it! This update is not as bad as it may seem...

All colors will be avaiable :>...

Regarding the concerns about the ''levels'', yes, they're just the graduation of normal/exceptional quality.

So in truth, those of us who are getting hit hardest are the ones who upgraded with our sewing kits and materials. Unless the amount you get for each sewing kit is lower than the price to upgrade. In which case it would even out due to the extra materials spent. But it cost 4 sewing kits for some equipment so the amount of rep you gain would have to be quite low for each right?

Edit: I'm not trying to complain. I like the update and I think it will help the game. I'm just trying to find out whats happening. It's an amazing game anyway and I enjoy it very much.

Well, I have mixed feelings about this one. It did delete one exceptional clothing upgrade on my shop item, but the system, itself, seems okay-ish.

(either oversight or fixed)

But most of Survivor marks are used for clothing.
While i like this update a lot, it will render survivor marks even more useless than before.

Hi, I play via Kongregate... and with this new change, the strawberries I have in the previously existing shop for buying clothes, do not show up when I try to use them for buying a clothing upgrade to 5/5... could you check on that?

With survivor adventure, some of the strategy in killing bosses is to use guns or explosives found inside the adventure. Now that these no longer replenish, it might be okay to tweak the damage of the bosses a little since our strategies will have to change drastically.

I kinda feel like this update made it even harder to find clothing sets. The good news is, you can now actually control (to an extent) the rate at which you find clothing. So that's kinda good. I'm not sure if this was a step in the right direction or not.
