I think the sewing kit exchange could have been handled a lot better than it was with this update. On the one hand, a more comprehensive solution would have been to write an algorithm that would calculate a player's currently held sewing kits, upgrade levels of clothing, and calculate an exchange rate for reputation to be awarded to the player. Then the kits could have been completely removed from the players inventory and this new system implemented. A simpler solution would have been not to hand out free 4/5 upgrades to clothing making much of the kits players used in the past worthless. Instead we ended up with a half-baked attempt to preempt discontent by handing out free upgrades which in turn punished the more veteran players who had spent levels and time acquiring sewing kits that were then rendered valueless in the free upgrade. In a progression community system that a MMO garners, this would be a game design "fopaux". |

Such things as an economy change, microtransaction change, progression change that invalidates prior progress are things you typically find in early development. As far as I can tell, this game is not in Early Access. IT SHOULD BE. Otherwise your PAYING customers have no forewarning whatsoever (Because it's too hard to verbally provide warning?) that such changes are coming. The lack of communication combined with such sweeping changes without any regard for your players leads me to suspect this game is developed and run by sociopaths, or grossly incompetent people. What is even going on with this game? If you are this early in development, then you shouldn't be taking money from people or be prepared to reimburse it, or provide some kind of soft reset. So what, we can sell the clothes we find for Reputation? Yeah, how much? That screenshot provided by Ares is likely the price to BUY that, not sell it. I bet we're only able to sell the clothes we find for like 5-10 reputation, which is nothing in the grand scheme. Let's break down what they did: Let's break it down: - Sewing kits removed. Every level up reward where you chose them are now useless and wasted. The argument of "that problem existed before the change" or "some people chose stats instead" is missing the point. Those things are still in the game, and useful. We had NO IDEA sewing kits would eventually become a wasted level up choice. - Clothes completely changed. Yeah sure they can drop now and be found. Never mind the fact it should have been that way from the beginning, but it sounds good right? Wrong. Those clothes you would spend 1000-1500 reputation points upgrading, you'll now be spending upwards of 5000 reputation points. It's beyond obvious that they're putting more clothing in the hands of players so they can even BEGIN to spend real money on upgrading them. Poor form. |

Thank you for providing us with this update. Will the Strategy Table buffs affect the drop rate of clothing items as well? |

The fact they're increasing the cost of upgrading clothing so much (Around 1000 reputation per piece) with the ability to spend REAL MONEY to circumvent it right before PvP is introduced is disgusting. It's shockingly obvious what their intentions are. |

Slayseer a dit : Are they actually making it cost 5000 rep just to upgrade a clothing to next level?? I know they need money, and I know we should be grateful that they keep updating the game. But this is the worst pay2win system I have ever seen from a good game. Even though transformice does the same, there one major difference: in Tranformice, there's no max cap as of how many cheese you can get in a single day. If you keep working hard, you can get what you want in shorter amount of time. In deadmaze, you can get only about 200 reps a day (300, if you're extremely lucky). Which means, even if you work hard, it's still taking you weeks (or months) just to get 5000 rep. And let's not forget that it takes less time in tfm to get 30 cheese than it is in deadmaze to get 15 reps. I don't mind them siding more with people who gets in game purchases, but the fact they also punish people who are doing it genuinely bugs me very much. But in the end, It's up to the developer. It's their game, they can do what they feel the best choice. EDIT: NO, IT'S NOT 5000, only 500; that's still very managable! Dernière modification le 1521592680000 |

This update is totally stupid only because of making improving clothes harder. It will take insane amount of grinding just to upgrade clothes to lvl. 2. This update is definitely step in wrong direction |

a dit : You couldn't be more right about that. I expect the population of the game to take a nose dive in the coming weeks. |
