why is boumboum not updating like transformice,.transformice gets updated almost everyday, but not boumboum -.- this is annoying just update the darn game with animals or powerups or something new GOSH! |

Admins have better things to do than update Bouboum almost every week, so chill. Transformice was the first game they created, so that's probably why they're frequently updating it. |

Swirlfire a dit : If they have better things to do they shouldn't be making more games and should be focusing on the ones they can keep updated. Bouboum isn't being updated because.. Well there really is no reason, Bouboum just isn't that great of a game anymore and with it's decreasing playerbase it's becoming less and less of a priority compared to Transformice. The popularity level just makes the game a minority. |

Transformice has about 4 years of work in it, it is the most stable game atelier801 has with a decent playerbase. If they can't distribute their focus they should not be running more games. There is no excuse at this point. It's very obvious that very little thought was put in to how to run new games when they made them and now there's a mess that needs to be cleaned up. |

zefortuner a dit : So bouboum will be update in 600 years. The only cause that Bouboum & Fortoresse are never updated is that these two game dont make money. |

Ratieau a dit : Yup, and that's because Transformice's user-base is 10000000x bigger than those two games' combined. I think they're great games and deserve a larger user-base, but at this time, it's reasonable for A801 to focus on TFM more than the other games. Like I've said before, I think a small studio like A801 has more big, multiplayer games up than they can handle. They'll either need to expand the company or suspend further development of the other games temporarily, I don't imagine marketing would be any easier. |

This is happening to Fortoresse too, no updates and also hackers run wild. |

Try telling all this to us Nekodancer players. Especially me because I don't play TFM very often and never Bouboum or Fortoresse. Atelier has absolutely got to employ more staff if they really think they can run four (soon to be five) games. Dernière modification le 1425057960000 |

doesn't make much sense for a business to invest in a non-profit game with a low playerbase when they have profiting games with a large playerbase they could invest in. That's my guess at "why" |

Ok guys lets say that tfm updates boumboum, nekodancer, and fotesse for a mouth. people will think "oh tfm has not been updating so we can hack" when people hack they bring more problems. so after mouth work when the admins go back to tfm its all broken nobody on there because they were CARELESS enough for tfm to go down and then all of these other games will be shut down like boumboum, nekodancer , and fortresse Dernière modification le 1427449860000 |

Here is the cycle that is killing all the games. Introduction of new game -> Popularity Boom -> Popularity weakens -> New update -> Popularity does not grow -> Game becomes unprofitable -> Less people play as game has no updates -> Game becomes even more unprofitable -> Even less people play as update promises are broken and the games remain months without updates -> Game dies and becomes completely unprofitable -> Popularity dies out to only regulars and new players -> Reign of hackers -> Newer players are discouraged from the game -> Long-time pros finally bail out leaving only regulars and beginners -> Slow and painful death (No updates from unprofitability = Less players = Less chance of updates = Less players = ...) Seriously, either evenly distribute updates to all of the games somehow, or don't make the games at all. It just makes me think the only reason they make the other games is to persuade people who discovered those games first to quickly stop playing them and then just jump into Transformice. The games that are not Transformice are losing its player base because Atelier 801 doesn't care so why should we? If they aren't gonna update the game then the more the player will play of it the less of an incentive there is to continue because there isn't much to do. If they were expecting people to stay on its first release without updates then they should have put in a lot more items in the shops, more replay value, and higher stability the first time. |

My only concern about games not being updated is lack of anti-hack programming. A game can have a halt on updates as long as the prevention of hacks are up to date. |

Atelier lacking trust in their games means that we lack trust in their games and in their company itself. It's very hard to trust atelier to ever do anything about this because they've broken many update promises, left games to rot, carelessly made updates (Nekodancer's update has glitches that they don't fix), not bothered with any sort of anti hack programming, and just generally don't seem to care about their games anymore. So much for them trying to revive the games they loved. Think about it. They're killing Celousco and starting up a new game instead of working on the games they already have, when we already know that Atelier801 can't handle this many games on their own. What does that tell you about these side games? Keep in mind their goals are "Profitability" and "Sustainability". It's basically an insult to the people who tried to help keep the other games alive and believed that there was a way Atelier could fix their messes up. Bouboum, Fort and Neko are basically being treated as if they aren't atelier's properties anymore. But, keeping in mind how atelier finally thinks they have a solution, this is the last chance I personally think I'll give. I'll support the new game, as long as enough thought is put into it before they let it rot like the other games. Dernière modification le 1427840340000 |

sukanekoto a dit : I don't see a problem with this approach though. IT's better than mere advertising, it's interactive advertising, and it's free. |
