There are plenty of veteran players, some out there in the background including myself, but I wouldnt call myself the best. Some of the well known veterans are Shadowtrophy, Ganzan, Juneprincess, Iamami. Plenty more, but these four are talked about the most. If you'll also notice, most of these four are snipers. So it figures they'd be up here.

Um, since these perks appeared, pros tend to umm, not use them? Idk anyone bakc me up on this?

Thesnailgary is pro I havent really met anyone "yet" better than him at ruining my kill streek.

In order to be reconized as one of the best, you have to show it. Meaning to go prove that you are. Some like juneprincess goes to many different rooms and just beats everyone and then gets bored then goes to other rooms and continue or just stay in room 1 and tries to be teh best. People like shadowtrophy and iamami play their very best most often so then they get reconized. As solfin just said there are many people out there who are better than those four (I destroyed ganzan and iamami). There are others like heliquin who doesn't play as much anymore and um other shadows and mean shadowwinter and shadowtrophy are very similar, THE SHADOWS ARE THE SUPERIOR RACE. Ok no just kidding but they are good, but yes my point is that those people whom i have just mentioned are very good even better than ganzan or juneprincess but they just dont show their skills. If i were to pick out the best who i know then the list would be pretty long.

In my opinion, I think to be the best, you can't just be good at using the same guns and the same perks. You have to use a variety of guns and perks.

For example, I know one player named Ganzan. All he uses as his primary is the M40 A5. It feels like a lot of people use the M40 A5 most of the time once they get it.

Every few rounds, it's good to switch around your setup.

Also, you want to have good strategies for victory, like using perk combinations to your advantage. For example, it's an excellent strategy if you detonate a C4 while you're inside your Attack Up Circle, resulting in anyone not crouching being killed instantly.

Anyways, your perks and weapon choice really isn't what makes you good at this game nor does it make you better then anyone else. To be honest it's how you play with your team as a team regardless of how your team may be doing during the round.

Sure, gun-skill and perk choice does play a part depending on how you use them and when you do, but honestly if you're not willing to take a bullet for a teammate and think you can do everything on your own (when it's honestly impossible) do you really deserve to be recongized?

As I was going to mention in a post before I forgot to reconnect to the forums due to it refreshing literally every five minutes, there are a lot of people out there that play support roles but just don't get noticed because they're never at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the round because they don't get points for what they do.

I've seen people constantly laying down medkits for teammates regardless of when they need it, jumping out infront of others when they're running away and getting shot, using their invincibility to rush ahead of the team and sponge literally all the enemies team's bullets till they die as their team pushes up behind and kills them all. Just stuff like that goes unnoticed and it's honestly upsetting.

/Not everything is about kills. Support roles make your life easier, and give you the upper hand to win/.

don't see why people consider her to be so good. Maybe its just how only newbies compare them to her? dont know cause i have only seen people who are new to this game or just plain bad compare themselves to those of higher skills

I wouldn't really considering myself one of the good or "better" people at this game, especially since I've ditched the game again for Transformice. Dedicated players are going to be what stand out if they really decide too and try, meaning anyone can. To be honest I think a lot of people have potential.

Our fort players think that skill comes from most kills = automatic bias towards snipers.
So if that's not true, then how do we measure skill?
We need ranks. We cant decide ranks by firsts or by kills, so how do we do it?

no need ranks, it will make more c4 user and sniper in the future, i think we should have some game mode that use the random guns from the server

The easiest way to resolve this is to add a profile in fortoresse right xD? You could see person's kill/death ratio rather than just kills.
