Personally, I believe that 10+ year olds should require at least a chance to admission as a mod. Due to new advanced technology, the ten year olds are starting to progress mentally quicker. I hate to break it to you, but as a 13 year old, i can agree with the 18+ requirement, like, lets say there was never a law in france disallowing us to be staff, i believe the 18+ rule is a great way to ensure at least SOME maturity within the staff team, i know this issue was dealt with, however i just want to voice my opinion, our brains are just starting to develop, and i can say myself that i'm still immature, and you are too, our brains don't stop developing until 25(?), imagine giving a 12/13 year old the power to 1, see peoples IP addresses, 2, Permban/Unban any account they please, and more, it would lead the game to chaos, and kill the game more than it already is, so no, they shouldn't give, as you said "us twelvies and tweenies a chance"

I disagree with the sentiment that age equals maturity. A lot of adults are extremely immature, in particular young adults; and sometimes a teenager can have such a mature mindset people who wouldn't know them personally (online etc.) would assume they are a lot of years older.

I do agree, however, that the moderation is not a place for kids in respect to the things mods tackle, but if it wasn't for the French legislation, I do not believe there would be an extreme difference between a 17 year old and an 18 or 19 year old when it comes to being a staff member; if anything it would be more beneficial since they'd have more free time not being at work.
