Oh! Love is Hard for Otaku definitely reminded me of Kiss Him, Not Me! It’s a nice rom com, also featuring the mc as a fujoshi!

If you're into romance anime, boy oh boy do I have a TON to show you!
Tzuredure Children is an anime about young youth in middle school blossoming and finding love among classmates, and they're all in the same class, and it's just just about one or two couples, there's like eight or more and it's just so adorable!!! This anime can make you squeal, cry, laugh, and have a good time. The characters are all cute and unique and adorable and each couple is different.
Kimi ni Todoki is basically the generic "high school teens fall in love" and it had older graphics. To me, the graphics aren't that good BUT it's a very cute anime and I recommend 10/10. The girl is in a few tough situations, never really having friends, or people to talk to for that matter. Prior to this, when she was younger, kids used to think she was the girl from 'The Ring' and called her Sadako. This nickname has followed her all the way to high school, and she is determined to change that. Along the way she makes friends, and eventually starts falling for the most popular guy in school, Kazehaya Shouta.
Kimi no Na wa. (Your Name) is a movie! A 'puts you in your feels' type, and it really messed me up. I cried SO MUCH it's just amazing though. I really recommend watching it, you won't regret it. There's one guy and one girl, and one day, they switch bodies. They don't know how or why, but they go on a journey to find one another. I forgot to mention that the guy, Taki Tachibana, lives in the city, while the girl, Mitsuha Miyamizu lives in the countryside. Following this, strange events happen. This is what part of the description says: Kimi no Na wa. revolves around Mitsuha and Taki's actions, which begin to have a dramatic impact on each other's lives, weaving them into a fabric held together by fate and circumstance.
Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars!) is a cooking anime. It's funny, has great characters, has 3 seasons so you can binge to your hearts content, and it has a good storyline. (I changed my username to Soma because of this anime.) There's a character named Yukihira Soma who loves cooking in the diner his family owns, and most of all, cooking against his dad, but ultimately losing every time. A ton of people thought he'd give up by now, but he hasn't. One day his dad decides to close up the diner for two to three years and go around the world cooking with his friend again. Upon this happening, his dad tries to enroll him it's Totsuki Academy, the biggest and best culinary school in the country. It's very hard to get in, and even harder to graduate. I recommend this anime %100 percent because it's so good and it's funny too!

I recommend all these animes because they are amazing and I just love them so much.
I'M SORRY I KEPT RAMBLING BUT I JUST REMEMBERED MORE ABOUT EACH ANIME WHEN I WATCHED AND JUST KEPT WRITING. Enjoy though!

honestly i havent watched kiss him not me and ik what its about and ik a silent voice/koe no katachi is nothing like it but its still a really great and really beautiful romance anime (movie) and its 2 hours long and its definitely worth every minute you should definitely check it out i love every single thing about that movie its just. ugh wow it makes me extremely happy you have no idea?? there's a few trigger warnings abt it to keep in mind before watching but other than that and even with that. it just makes it so realistic and amazing and i wish there were more ppl who knew abt it out there, all the characters are fantastic

guaranteed not all of it is about the romance but i just love how it all falls together and the implemented scenes about that just make sense

Rest assured I myself keep on discovering more new hidden gems and mangas myself by every month or so

I watched 40+ animes
some of them I remember
some I want to forget cause I hated them.

Anyway, i'm more into the mangas because I just recently had 1~7 books of the manga series Not Lives and I love it alot so..

I don't really have a favorite anime but I do like non-mainstream ones. Anyone have an anime similar to Boku x Iku SS or Happy Sugar Life?
