Well, some are nice and some are rude. Most of the deathmatch pros just favor the ones that don't have a brown skin and they only kill the ones with the brown skin. I have a brown skin and I'm always targeted. So I agree with you most are rude.

i think this thread is mostly referring to people who essentially play the normal game modes for stats

In most of the rooms I have visited, there were some "Pro" players that were rude, yet others were generally nice.

I agree with this discussion and it's topic all the "pro" players don't really like the new players they always pick on them because of their skill, this especially happens when there are wall jump puzzles in the levels and the new players don't know how to do that, this also almost always happens when newer players become the shaman.

not all "pro players" don't like the newbies
I myself am a 2012 player with somewhat decent stats.
but I love the newbies, so do most of my friends.
one time a newbie was being picked on in a public room, and a friend and I stood up for her and we befriended her. :^)
and like others said before, experienced players are often quiet, so they may not say anything, but they could be nice when you get to know them.
please, it's not a good idea to accuse the entire population of a player "title" if it's just a small amount.

I still can't consider pro people that just cheat on their stats, have multiaccount or farm like most people do.
I'd say to you just to ignore them, if someone is rude it's pointless to even try to talk to them.

Talk to me instead, i'm trollish and i can teach you a lot of tricks =)

I laugh when 'pros' complain or insult when I simply block the hole
And I say wait for the people who are new or don't get the concept of the map

And out of nowhere , hate whispers Come in

To be honest, pro players are fabulous to troll with
side note: there's nothing that special about them. They just know the game better. Every pro is like every noob. Meaning they are no different from others besides how they act.

I found that pro players are often wasting the time when they're shamming (but not all of them). Some of them cannon us eventhough they're in vanilla.. and I'm like: "hey I'm here to collect many cheese not to play with your silly-misplaced cannons (they should be in survivor)"

I know this thread is pretty worn out, but hey, I'll share my opinion :P. I think that the classification of "pro" is too often associated with stats. I think a "pro" should be considered someone who has great skill (for example, if a pro created a new account and started playing on that one). Also, I'm definitely not promoting this, but meeping in survivor and trolling in vanilla are completely allowed, just not socially acceptable by the majority of people. Likewise, these meepers and trollers are called "noob" a lot.

To answer the thread's main question, I think that behavior has little relation to "proness" despite the fact that most pros are quieter and similarly most "noobs" ask more questions about how things work. Pros can either be pretty nice or snotty and crude.

In survivor I think pro's are usually fairly quiet but they can have people call them a noob or something along those lines. But usually they still don't do anything other then what any other players on tfm do. You usually don't find many "snobby or rude pros" in vanilla rooms. But I think mostly pro's are just quiet.

If they've got a bad attitude, they can't be considered "pro" because they aren't displaying professional qualities

Who says that being nice and having a nice attitude are considered as professional qualities?

It depends on the player, not the general community of pros. Just because someone is pro doesn't mean they have a bad attitude. I've met pros who were really nice aswell as a few who picked on new players. Like others pointed out, most pros tend to be quiet but nice once you get to know them.
