Which they ignored and continued on with their "gj"'ing to each other. I understand a vast majority are silent, but to blatantly ignore a question is rather rude.

Ah, don't even bother to talk with them. They are just rude.

I'm not vain enough to call myself 'pro', whatever the hell that means, and I always try to help new players with any advice I can give or answer questions and I'm always giving away inventory stuff to newbies who, for reasons unknown to me, want to be a milk carton and such.

That said, I seem to be a love or hate type of person.

I posted in this topic before but my opinion has changed a bit. I don't really think its the pros a lot of the time. I usually find that it's the 'noobs' who freak out about the smallest things in the game.

I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I've seen a noob get mad on a collision map cause somebody "pushed them off". Or get mad at the shaman/their soulmate for accidentally killing them, or get pissed at rushers/yell at rushers for rushing. When really all of these things are pretty much inevitable/normal occurrences in the game that more experienced players got used to.

With pros, what I tend to see is them getting mad over things that are more well- normal to get mad at, it's perfectly reasonable to get mad at getting killed in a double sham map/getting iced/losing a first, because these get done on purpose. But tbh I rarely notice too many pros get mad at this anymore, most I see just stay silent, make some cryptic salty message, or the most pissed whisper whoever they're mad at. But like public full on brawls over that? Not really, I think most already have had enough experiences with seeing noob shams/losing a first that they don't really see it as a reason to make a big deal.

In fact, what I usually see is slightly less noob players, that have been on the game for like what... a week? A month? Griping at guests and newbies for not being able to build and the such, when they probably can't do much better.

Does this mean that pros don't gripe at newbies as well? Yeah, but from my own experiences, the most experienced players are usually joking or don't react at all. Usually what I see is people in the middle range are the ones to most often get salty because they start to get cocky and consider themselves pro at some unseen point. The people who have been here longest/play the most often don't mess with people until someone messes with them first.

And me, I tend to not care, I think pro/noob are words that others should use to describe me, not me describe myself. But I usually don't really care about a lot of this unless people are purposefully trying to piss me off, I tend to stay silent and keep on going with my convos or whatever. I can get salty some times but usually I don't let it evolve past that most of the time. As for helping newbies, I usually answer honest questions that I know may be difficult to figure out upon first joining, but I don't do much beyond that cause I just don't care.

But then again these are my own personal experiences with pros/noobs, I only speak for myself here based on what I have seen, not others. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

brazilian pro players are soooOo rude (they aren't even pro, they just use lots and lots of leve and get away with it)
brazilian players in general are rude

I hate the 'firsters' that go on smaller communities
The server i'm always on, is overrun by polish and brazillian players.
Also,from my personal experience,some pros are actually really nice. Hooking up to my words about the 'firsters',i once got lucky and got 2nd and one nice person with higher stats said 'Congratulations!'
And there are also rude people. When you get 'their' first,they always say that you are a noob.
You can't judge one portion of players as a whole,there is always someone different
v Oh,completely forgot about that. Once,on my old pc,my internet was dying,so i had an internet lag. I went to the hole,right when the shaman tried to block it,but since i was lagging,i got there,before shaman was finished. Then i was accused of being a hacker

I think that that isn't a really big problem if we compare it to communities like ES or BR, people is way ruder in there

I don't know what's wrong with them. Someone says hello to them they respond hello too but then start cursing.

Most of the pro players i met were nice to me

Some pros are very nasty actually. They tease you around. However some other pros are actually really nice. I got along with one and look, now I have a soulmate :-)

some times but I have met at least a few who have been mean because i'm a lower lvl then them :( But some can be kind right..?
also ya a lot of people yell at new players because they don't know how to sham
