The internet is but a form of communication. Just because someone's being rude on the internet it doesn't make it any more okay than in real life.

I don't understand why everyone's shrugging the topic off and saying to just ignore them. I'm not denying that ignoring is by far the best way to deal with these situations, because it probably is. But the fact remains that if you've got to ignore someone in almost every public room you go to, something's got to be wrong here.

No disrespect to you, I just really hate comments like these. Some people have more emotions and sensitivity, which is barely controllable and takes seriously intense coping skills to learn how to deal with them. What if I told someone who gets harassed at school and stop taking school so seriously? Whether or not it's said to your face or through reading letters on a virtual page doesn't really matter, it's still rude and offensive. People need to learn to cope with them, sure, but people also need to learn to be more considerate and not total dicks all the time.

Internet is smart people who are posing as dumb people.

Most people on tfm are pretty rude, but they are who they are, just like we ourselves are who we are..
Besides, you shouldn't let their teasing or bullying get to you, it's a game, so play...

Please bare in mind not to insult others or act rudely when posting in this thread, this is a place to discuss issues, not argue about them.

Depends on who you hang out with, tbh. I have a chill tribe and they're pleasant; if someone's going to annoy me severely (but not with homophobia or the likes inwhich I'd report) I put them on my ignore list or move rooms.

You can't just change an entire playerbase.

There are reasons why this happens maybe your sister Messed up someone's build or threw a ball or puffer and killed someone there.You can use a button that has the word IGNORE on it to ignore someone and you can't see their messages.

There are people like Imaginist, who is very kind and congratulates whenever anyone gets a first, but then there are other people, who scream 'noob!' and 'idiot/stupid/retard(ed) sham!'.
