The players who did this (Floam and idozanimaljamz aka Zade) have all been banned. Although there is speculation that the hackers can log on their banned accounts, but this is not proved yet.

tbh i'm kinda sad that i didn't join in 2010. being able to have a taste of the beta days would be great lol. (not because there was no rares i think it'd be cool to see how much things have changed if i joined since then)

It is sad that the are returning. The aspect of unreleased and removed items has caused tons of drama, speculation and mystery since the beta days. It is something that other games do not have, Animal Jam should have used this as a way to gain players, and to make it more fun for the players. Although, as i am the only one who thinks like this, i suppose everyone else is wishing they came back.
