Inkling female by far, their "hair" is definitely better. Honestly it's the only differing feature from the default model.

I like the male inkling more.

Started playing the game today, currently level 5. Game is relatively easy.

Female one is too cute! You get the armor through beating the single player mode. I'm not sure if you need to collect the hidden items cause I did that before beating the bosses.

i beat the final boss and oh my god its amazing

I tried using the inkbrush today. I prefer the rollers tbh. Also, I switched from the Krak-On-Splat roller to the 0.52 Gal. Deco. I now use that gun and that gun only.

What do you think of the inkbrush?

It's a lot of fun and I tend to get higher on the leaderboards (highest like 1200 P) because of it, but you need to work harder to get the ink everywhere since it doesn't have a lot of range.

The Ink brush seems like the support equivalent of the Splat-Roller that's used for taking ground quickly and sneakily without the enemy knowing since it's combat is pretty bad. If pre-made teams ever become a thing in the game (or if they already are) I can see it being used very effectively, otherwise I don't really think much of it because there's better options for someone looking to carry their team unless people are just looking to grind points effectively.

This is all just speculation from what I've seem from other's game-play though, so disclaimer there.
