It's not the "likes" affecting their job. Here the other people are being betrayed because they edit the post from good to bad. That's what really affecting. It increases the reports. Yeah sents can check the edits but it doesn't prevent the increament of reports

This suggestion should stay because it means people can stop posting empty messages only containing "support" or "no support" without any further motivation or explanation. It's time to bring the discussions back into the discussion threads.

Doesn't matter if sentinels can check edits. Well honestly you can't even imagine the whole café starts to use the forums. And that's just for some likes or dislikes. As i already said on another thread are you trying to show yourself how "famous" are you? This turned in something unbelievable for almost everyone and ofc there's gotta be people who would start going less over the time if this system doesn't get removed.

Your reasons doesn't make any sense. sentinels had this issue of people who edit their posts for ages..it's not something new

So what if Café people joined the forums only to dislike and like ? It's not an issue since the dislike button here is different than the cafe's dislike button.

Look. We already have the messages
some can have 5000 and some have 30 or smth what I'm trying to say is we don't need more farmers.
Basically w Forum games people farm for messages points (cuz that's what I did earlier)
and now people will post unnecessary comments all the time to get "likes" and what's up with this level thingy on the profile? Like. Are they trying to make a tfm version but on the forums?

It indeed is different but you can't see how many people just hate it. The forums were the only clean thing until now. We've already got café with such a possibility but this.. Sorry but it's going to be annoying.

With every new update, we give our thoughts incase we think something should change, this is
very new you can't really judge based on an hour of experience with the likes/dislike,

Just give it a few days to adapt to new system and i'm sure you will learn to like it with time. /pun was not intended lol

You saw the hate over the "new" platform in about 2-3 months ago right? Well this is repeating but a thread about removing something never got just 4(almost 5) pages in just 2 hours??? This is not normal honestly. If we are going like this then why not making it with FB's options? Surely if this happens every single person who's still in the forums will just leave. Or maybe only few will stay.

I think we should keep the like and dislike buttons. I find them useful, and make the forums a clean place that's less covered with "I agree" and "Good Luck" posts. Instead of making an entire new post to tell someone you found their post useful or liked it, you can just click a button. It lets other people easily see that you agree with them. If you hit the dislike button, it would be a bad idea to include it in the forum ranking system because some people might just spam it on other people's posts if they're mad with them, even if they do like their post. I really like how the ranks for in the Tribe Only part of the forums, as they let you see how experienced a player is and if they make good posts. This is why think the system should stay the way it is and not change, except for the editing issue, and not be removed.

There's not even an option to undo it. If it's in cafe, it's okay cuz it is not an official place. But forum is bit more serious.

If you say dislike doesn't do anything. Then why we need that useless thing?

i know this will get a lot of dislikes(yeah pls dislike it) but idk yeah idm trying it but seeing from how it went for cafe idk if it's a good idea to have this like and dislike thing. I agree that the buttons can be quite distracting and like it defeats the purpose of supports and nosupports in suggestions thread and all I am also not in favor with this, but I don't think it's really a bad idea actually.

Just that ppl are more likely to press the red button than the green button, right? (yeah ok red is mah favourite color) not just because of genuine dislike but more because of mischieve and mood, its like when u just vote no on a P0 map cos u died in the map.

I personally feel that only the dislike button should be removed, the like button can stay, so that someone would not be demoralised by the 100+ dislikes shown. This way, we can still have the title system (which can be kind of increase forum publicity activity and create some excitement :P) but at the same time stop haters from just hating for the sake of hating.

But i don't think it'll be fair to just remove this immediately after it's just had its debut. So /no support (yea ok dislike this post now), but i don't disagree that the red button is annoying.

Personally if someone likes or dislikes what I have to say, I want them to reply and tell me why instead of giving me a vague rating.
