I don't think the job of a sentinel or moderator is to take verbal abuse or calm down angry mobs, it's to moderate discussions between users ^^'

I also didn't mean to imply that you guys specifically are just here to make angry posts, just the community in general is very happy to make anti-mod posts (and it always has been :P). It is more a comment about past threads where reasonable staff posts were completely ignored, because a lot of players just wanted to rant about mods. This thread seems less explosive than past ones, which is nice! But I would prefer to talk about moderation policies in private because it's easier to respond. As you can see, both sides of the argument would rather make general comments than talk about specific cases.

It would be great to hear feedback about my comments and the post about moderation as well, rather than just talking about me!

The Staff Contact thread can also be used for complaints! We can all see the posts, and respond to the player without having a big explosive thread like this. Or if y'all would rather talk to Matza our new manager, that is also a great option.

I'm moreso referring to her disrespectful response to Kat not being fit for her position when there are users with positive experiences from her. She is not up for debate, and that was extremely uncalled for and unnecessary when her opinion was requested.
