This game is 13+ and i'm still playing. But the fact that the goverment made a game not for all is heartbreaking to hear. Lets say a 9yr old wants to play with her bff who is a 13yr, but she cant becuuse the game is 13+. And lets say that the 9yr never gets to see her best friend and her best frend oplay this game.. see thats sad.

let see your respond

It doesn't really matter since kids even younger than 9 play the game anyways :/
But yes, it's only recommended that you're 13+ but if younger kids play it then that's on them to deal with more older players

This is plain out just no. Some teachers who assign work that require them to use the Internet and there are kids who will play games that are on the internet, because remember that not all 12 years old are cringy fnaf fans.

But this game is recommended 13+ because of the fact that there are older players who curse and post inappropriate content.
And of course, there are games out there that people of any age can play.
Animal Jam (Even adults, but that's creepy and weird), FeralHeart, Wolf Quest, etc.

People lie about their age on the internet often. But, I don't see this being a problem if that 9-year-old can tolerate profanity and other things that make TFM recommended 13+. Of course, though, that depends on the person.

TFM is recommended 13+ for a reason.

So, does that mean kids of the age 12 can play?

just telling you: some 12 year olds are mature enough to steer off of using things you think are cringy, it may be for safety measures but restricting them from the internet completely isn't right

as long as you have your guardian/parent's approval, you should be able to play tfm or any game recommended to 13+
this is because of the terms of agreement- which you can read by clicking at the bottom of the page above "contact"
it specifically states that if you are below 13 years, you should have consent to play this game by your legal guardian. if you do not, you are not abiding by the law and you will risk having your account taken away.

as long as you aren't doing something unwise or not allowed, you should be alright

so basically- this is already true. every app/game has this if it's for 13+ and if you're legally their guardian then you're allowed to take away their account

agree
there are nice parts of the internet but those are educational and you can have them from books also. not only from the internet, contrary to the popular belief kids these days have. it is easier to search for infos of the internet but you also learn less
anyways, i dont think internet games even help children in developing, all things that help their development can be found somewhere else outside a computer

It doesn't really stop kids from joining but I think the chat should be blocked until they're 13 to avoid seeing any profanity.

A: The government didn't make this game.

B: If you read ANY Terms of Service for anything that has online content you are agreeing that you are either above 13 or have a parents permission to use the service. However, no one reads that shit. But this way, if a kid sees something graphic, violent, pornographic etc, and the parent finds out and gets upset, you [the user] agreed that it wasn't the creator's fault so it isn't their responsibility.

That all said I agree with this 100%:

That gives me hypocritical vibes of you, you could've been 12 years old or younger when you've started playing game son the internet.

I'm guessing you're talking about COPPA?
The 13+ limit is there because there's a law in the United States that applies to websites that have certain features.

It's recommended for 13+ if you're under you need parent permission.
plus I don't want a bunch of 9 year olds invading this game.
