Feel free to lock for any reason, I've made sure there wasn't a thread like this before posting a new thread.

Remember the 5 default old grounds in TFM? If you've been around for that long and have screenshots of some maps with them, post them here to show the newer mice who don't know what they look like. Obviously, the admins won't completely change the design back to its original, but what if there was a special room where the 5 default old grounds were implemented as the only grounds in that room?
Plus, adding back the old vanilla maps, like in the example maps I made: @1301434 @1691208 @1302563 and there's more in my CFM

I know it seems kind of pointless, but a lot of my friends agree with what I'm suggesting so I decided to make a thread here. It would be kind of fun to bring back the old TFM memories of these old grounds and I know that you can probably make them out of lineart but that would be too much work as you would have to make one map at a time and such. The coders of TFM I'm sure would have to spend a lot of time on doing this and like I said, it seems pointless to some people, but once it will all be up and running a lot of older players will be satisfied with this and maybe it'll bring back people who've quit TFM..? I don't know, I mean it's just a suggestion, you know.

Feel free to post whatever you think on this and I don't care if you criticize.

I support this idea 100%, the grounds we have now are ugly as hell and most of them make me lag.
I'd be satisfied if there was a vanilla with the old maps and grounds.

What if you approach some art map makers and ask if they could possibly re-make some maps with old grounds. Perhaps they are able to use the sprites of the old grounds in the same way as all those image art maps are made (@3283533 and @3471523 etc.)?

Those grounds were so ugly but I miss them ;;

It would work, yes, but wouldn't it be really hard to proportion how the grounds look like (length x width)?? Plus you can't really do that shading thingy with the lineart unless you want it to look like a solid color cuz the old lava was lighter towards the top of it i think then it gradiently got darker

I remember coming back to this game after ten months and everything had changed, I thought "what the hell happened to this game" A lot of art was ruined and mechanisms became obvious. I'd love to see the old grounds again.

I never said there was a problem, and considering this is just a suggestion for a special room like bootcamp/racing/survivor/regular vanilla OR a minigame room (/module), it means that I'm not suggesting getting rid of the new grounds, I'm suggesting what I just said, a special room for it. It'd be nice to visit TFM 2010 again.
