hi i come back to this thread bc there's literally 1938249398439 freshman at my school this yr who come to school wearing twenty one pilots shirts and band bracelts every day and LITERALLY their instagram bios are like "Hi im a demifrankisexual who enjoys tyler joseph. Kin with Sans XD undertale is the best!" and i literally wanna end myself bc this is what tumblr has turned the vast majority of 7th-10th grade kiddos into.

never said anything about preventing the ridicule of something. based on all your previous comments in this thread, you seemed to be driven by the idea of free speech and censorship, so i wanted to point out that mocking people does nothing to solve censorship problems.

expressing free speech and encouraging the idea that nothing is sacred, and everything is susceptible to ridicule does everything to prevent censorship though. When you express free speech, it prevents people from taking away that speech, only when people think there's a reason to be quiet about something does censorship work. I.E. "you're just being an asshole!!!!! xP"
