i'm shocked by how low quality this looks, i hope the final pieces don't suffer that choppy animation and bad textures that the trailer does :( it's a shame it couldn't have been flash animation with puppets in the 2d style of the TFM art, or the storyboards, they look cool (better than the show by the looks of it)

At what point does lack of budget mean a project should be abanndonned? They admitted it was lack of budget (and time) that made them 1) chose 3d rendered graphics and 2) outsource to another company.

surely if you don't have the cash or the time to do something well, and the only options you have are to get someone else to do it cheaply, that's a sign that it's not yet time for you to undertake that project? Handing a well established brand with a strong fanbase to an outsourcing company who wants to change the art style and blam out episodes quickly and with little creative controll by the brandholder just seems like a bad move to me. How can you be sure their aestheticly different take on the brand is going to be to your vision? how are you going to stop the onslaught of hate for it being different to how people expected it?

seems a random, unnecissary direction for the team to take. if they wanted cartoons i'd have rather had 20 second angry-birds like cartoons in the correct art style than this cheap outsourced business... but TBH i don't see the logic of making a cartoon at all anyway :\

also, it makes me really uncomfortable that that "girly mouse" is using her feminine ways to distract the other mice, Wonderful sexualisation there in a game where people as young as 6 can already label themselves as "sexy" to random people on the internet.

ahahah... seducing is a thing in a cartoon now haha...

Is nothing new but it is becoming more of a cliche already...
