As for if being Transgender is a mental illness, yeah, it pretty much is, all scientific evidence of people being transgenders shows the brain acting differently than it should, doesn't matter though, we don't treat people with mental illnesses differently, especially those who can function perfectly fine in society.

I think people tend to associate it with the latter though, since a lot of people with mental illnesses use it as an outlet and some tend to associate things like otherkin and SJWs with mental illness as well

whether or not that's the case, I'm not sure
