It's abuse of power, to put it clearly. "Look at me, I am trolling you and you can't voteban me, har harrr!"

Speaking for myself (and I’m sure anyone else), if I saw a serious attempt to vote ban me or get me out of the room, I would leave. Obviously mods are in a privileged position, but any serious abuses go checked by other mods (EN/E2 + other communities). Despite our position, we are also players first; expecting us to not be allowed to have any fun is not realistic.

Equating using consumables to troll with actual harassment also seems like an inappropriate comparison.

And you're saying a moderator should be allowed to have fun by destroying builds and killing saves somebody waited 20 minutes or more for their shaman turn, because they're a player like you or me and I should leave the room and my friends if I have a problem with it. What is the point of mods?

Have fun, but not at the expense of others, that should be plastered right under the Transformice logo, in my opinion. We get enough toxicity as it is, without mods joining in the "fun".

And you're so used to telling players that trolling is part of the game that you don't recognize when sustained use of hundreds of possible throwables could possibly be used as a tool for harassment. I am not just talking about myself in this instance, think about anybody dealing with this crap. People that have quit this game because of that crap.

Throwing in the "we are players first" card is just exemplary for the lack of understanding that is being shown here. Your powers don't magically disappear once you decide you want to be a player instead of being a moderator. As long as you have a yellow name, you will always have to think twice about the things you're doing, and you will never be able to play the game like any regular player would. Does that mean you cannot have fun? Of course not. Nobody here is asking you to stop having fun. But with power comes responsibility. The only thing you're showing here is that you're not willing to take that responsibility.

Or you could just acknowledge an error in judgement was made, and restore our faith in this EN mod team. There is no need to make a big deal out of this.

We have had a serious discussion in the whole EN team. Firstly, we apologize if anyone felt personally targeted by words or actions taken, there is no intent to target or harass anyone. If you still need to discuss a specific staff member's conduct, feel free to contact another staff member in private message or the admins.

We agree that excessive use of consumables is too much negativity, and we should not be consistently trolling others. However, we will not ban people in staff from ever using a particularly common feature of the game. One poor shaman round will not ruin your entire gaming experience. Restricting consumables or removing them entirely is a suggestion for the admins that we have no control over.

Regarding vote banning of mods, this is necessary in case some players try to ban a mod from a room so they can freely break the rules. As a feature players do not have, it is definitely important that we do not abuse this in non-staff cases. We have agreed that if players seem to want to vote ban a mod for non-staff reasons (trolling), we should stop participating or leave the room (just don't try to vote ban mods so you can misbehave, now).

ok we have 2 former mods over in this topic so yes i do think some mods can''t take shit so the other day i was talking shit to mods and most of them blocked my whispers lol i know that cause some of them respond most of the time but the past like 4 days i whispered mods multiple times no respond also bans and mutes are not the same you can do something and 1 mod would consider it not breaking the rules then another mod would consider it breaking the rules like bemmh i had a person telling me my mom fucks me in a post in cafe and they said its not breaking the rules and that i need to take some trolling and that its an online game i disagree with them but this just go to shows if i told another mod they might have muted or banned the player i think some mods just get used to players breaking the rules and they let small things slide i am not talking about all here sorry for shit english i can care less to type correctly

Change your account password and never share it with anyone again. Tell your friend to make his own account and stop hacking. That is, if your story is true, which I really doubt...
