Hi um Idk who ever did this but I got banned for 106 hours because of inappropriate chat talk and insulting café idk how I do insult café tho ;-; pe
I did not say anything inappropriate and did not insult the café if I somehow did Im sorry about that but please look into it ;-;

I do not know everything about transformice and idk how to post a topic on café but I did not say anything wrong did I btw I never put a message before on here so idk what to do even if my account is a 2017 account I accidentally forgot about Transformice and came back.

You have no active ban on your account, but the IP you connected with does. If you're using a VPN, change the IP and you will be able to log on without any issues.

Why are posts being moderated for being "unnecessary"? If they're breaking the rules, you should explain which rules were broken. Otherwise you should leave them alone. Classifying posts as unnecessary is trivial and it doesn't tell us why it was necessary to moderate the post.

All of the posts you listed - the player who posted them didn't need to post it, or the post didn't contribute anything to the topic, so they were moderated as being unnecessary.

That being said, if a player wants to know why their post was moderated, there are more than welcome to message a sentinel.

Hello. I am Neonlovess#0000 on Transformice. I saw a person getting banned for something I thought they didn't do, so I turned to cafe to discuss about it. After 10 minutes or so, I got banned for 'mentioning pornographic websites on cafe'. But, I didn't link anything on my topic. The mods online at the time were Valerie and Vellig. I am pretty sure Valerie is the mod who banned me, since she has banned others for unclear reasons. I have 3 questions. 1. Who exactly banned me? 2. Where is the visual evidence of me linking a pornographic website? 3. How do I appeal this ban?

This was not off-topic, asking questions about reviews in Map Submissions threads, but you moderated this because off-topic?!?! What is this?

But why are they unnecessary? If posts are off-topic, call them off-topic. If they are insults, call them insults. If it's spam, call them spam. Right now "unnecessary" is being used as an umbrella term to moderate simply anything, even if it doesn't necessarily break the forum rules. We have a whole forum section (read: Leisure Lounge) that consists solely of unneeded posts and threads. But you're not moderating any of that for being unnecessary. So why are you doing it elsewhere on the forums?

That person is not an English Sentinel, however submission threads are usually only to submit and sort submission. If you have a question, you should contact the creator of the thread to ask them to clarify.

Unnecessary is not being used as an umbrella term to moderate simply anything. All of these posts mentioned (except one, which was a question posted in this thread and has since been un-moderated), break the forum rules. Most, if not all, sentinels use "unnecessary" as the moderation reason for an extremely rude/insulting message. This was the case in the majority of the messages that you linked.

If the community prefers, we could be a little more specific with moderation messages, but I don't think it is necessary for the entire forums to know exactly why a person is being sanctioned. We have to draw the line somewhere as to how much information is too much to share. After all, the reason a message is being moderated is because we don't want other people to see it in the first place. Players can always find out more information about how their moderated posts break the rules in their forum sanction or by messaging a sentinel.
