Should we be able to return gifts?

Could be useful. Perhaps the gifter paid fraises/alot of gold for that gift? Returning it, and them getting their fraises/cheese back, could be helpful. But I think we should be able to have the option of adding a message of why you're returning it so you can explain, and the gifter understands without having his/her feelings hurt.

I thought players just suggest ideas, and the admins can decide to add it or not?

From the company's point of view, it's not in their interest to allow an option to cancel item purchases (in this case denying gifts). It'll likely put a strain on their income because even though a customer decided to purchase an item (in the form of a gift), they won't receive any income if this purchase gets cancelled by someone that is not the original customer. Impulse purchases can be a great source of income, and that is possibly at stake when a feature like this is being introduced.

and then we get into the whole digital rights argument about pixels with value and wether it would be right to refund something that never existed and was thus a service and not a good in the first place......

but nah, just /no support. The conformation sounds nice, but I think once the sender hits gift that should be their fraises spent.

I think you're misunderstanding the thread. if you've gifted someone else and fucked up this will not help you. it's if you are receiving a gift you are given the option to say no.

well, sometimes friends JUST gave me a fur... without warning.
but once, a friend owed be one, and i asked for the fox fur with black spot on forehead which is under racoon fur, and you know what he gave me??? the friggin TAILS fur from sonic..and i HATE that fur, i can't stand it. and i think the badge ruins my profile lol
