Pro's: Funny/useful/good topics, a good place to make a cheesefarm and show everyone. Con's: Abuse of the + and - button, people who make useless, cringy topics and posts, etc.

Every chat platform has it's pros, As someone who is an incredibly frequent EN2 Cafe user, I find it very addictive, Lot's of pretty cool people with lot's of stories to share and lot's of discussions to be had.

Yes, People do swear a lot, And yes, There are arguments, But you can't blame that on lack of moderation, You can blame it on our society, People get into arguments, And debates, And heavy discussions, And all that, But that's why the cafe is there, To spice up our transformice life, Because discussion is what makes our life interesting.

Spam.
Roleplays/bad fanfics, not my cup of tea.
Edgy topics about your oc.
Too-much-information posts.

I'm not really going to add swearing as a con, because I mutter the odd word now and then, and that's fine.
A big paragraph of swear words or very sexual comments is what I draw the line at though.

How can you still like cafe when i'm posting scratch everyday.

number 1 super pro: It's not forced on you like the in game chat, it's something you have to opt into by clicking and getting a popup with the content. There's no way people can spam you through it, and there's no way you can be forced to see something/read something you don't want to as you consent when you hit that cafe button. i LOVE A801 for this, if they're gonna add a random barely modderated semi pointless thing like this, it's SOOOOO important that it doesn't impact gameplay one iota, and i'm very grateful they thought of that.

cons: fuck if i know, i never click the thing. i'm here for cheese :P

*Based on my experience in the E2 Cafe*

PROS_______________________________________________________

• It's a good place to get your art rated.
• Not all of the Cafe is bad. There actually are some decent users.
• If people aren't in the mood to randomly hate everything they see, it's a good place to have a good discussion about something you like with people who share the interest, like WC, certain shows, etc.
• If you are dead on a map and it'll be awhile til the next one, the Cafe is a good place to hang for about a minute or two. Sometimes I spend several rounds dying an afk death though. The Cafe's pretty addicting . . .

• Sometimes, people will hate on a random thing for absolutely no reason (not always, though.)
• Flamewars and arguments can get REALLY intense.
• The "+" and "-" (like/dislike - upvote/downvote) buttons are often abused.
• Some Cafes are usually full of spamming.
• If no mods are online, it gets INSANE.
• Some people judge you based on what other games you play or what things (like shows or book series) you like. If you play AJ, some people judge you by that.
• There's sometimes LOTS of drama.

Kinda depends on what Cafe, though. Some Cafe's are honest, but you do have a point, some do hate for no reason. But some 0/10s could be honest (I'm NOT trying to be rude or anything). Most art topics in the E2 Cafe I see usually have 7-8-9/10s and some pretty good suggestions.

i can't really think of any cons, and i don't really understand why people are talking about the lack of moderation because inappropriate comments and topics usually get removed really quickly?
it's fun as long as you don't start flamewars for ridiculous reasons

not really the case everytime
from my experience alot of people gave me good ratings whenever i posted art on the en cafe
