Remove Election System?

Eh, remove it.

Why is this an issue? Sometimes I actually forget it exists, because it doesn't affect how I play at all :P

Anyways, I think that the election system just needs to be worked on (a lot) and improved, then it'll be a LOT more useful. :)

^ this, i ticked "keep as it is" as i know some people enjoy it and it doesn't hinder me at all.

also, i lol at how the community wanted more things to do/ways to chat, so we got Cafe and elections. now mice are all "omg it's just spam, get rid of it!" you do realise this is a playerbase/community issue? :P not the mechanics you've been given. Not the mods fault that when you're given a tool to ask polls you pick "hamburgers or pizza" over anything constructive. Or that when you have a fairly instant forum system all you get is "moo, mee, moop, moooooooo" kind of senseless dribble

It starts to become an issue when the cafe is spammed with "VOTE FOR ME!" and useless polls that don't attain to the game pop up.

Especially when there were leaders like Cidboy and Deskdrawer.

Honestly, I don't want it removed. Sometimes when I'm bored I go on the election and scroll down to read through some amusing slogans. One time I even ran for mayor (just to test it out, cause why not?) And like Katburger said, if you don't like it, why don't you just ignore it? It doesn't affect your gameplay. Some people out there really enjoy it, and might be upset if it's removed.

If there are "Vote for me" threads on the Cafe that you find annoying, just don't click the topic. It's that easy.

Probably the most pointless addition to this game. It kind of fits in with the cafe seeing as it's useless and dumb, but some people have fun with it, and it doesn't get in the way of the game in general.

Just wait for the inappropriate and intrusive polls while playing

I don't see the point in keeping something so useless and unasked for.

Honestly, when I first entered an election, I was just getting started. Then, the next day I still got any votes but a mouse in my candidate has more votes than me before I entered. Finally, I entered a different candidate which I got a different fur. Shouldn't it be fair if they been president only once?
