thank god i'm following the right people on tumblr b/c i rarely see any toxic/hypocritical posts and when i do, it's usually either someone calling them out on that shit or an ironic post.

the problem with tumblr (moreso than other social media sites) is that it's very easy to surround yourself with people with similar views and isolate yourself from people with opposing views. while this can be a good thing, it can also create a lot of twisted perceptions, especially amongst younger tumblr users

thankfully the blogs i follow stood WITH zammi supporters when shit went down

aside from that i do follow some blogs that sometimes vent, but there's this one blog that constantly tries to educate people about things and certain conditions and they ALWAYS end with 'you're a good person and deserve to be loved and supported' LIKE OKAY as if that hasn't been overused but whatever buddy. that might sound insensitive but when i mean it's overused i mean it's VERYYY overused. they made a post about alzheimer's and said the 'you're a good person and deserve to be loved' thing but honestly it's hardly relative. plus why would you even BE on tumblr if you have alzheimer's??? it's not like a college student/high schooler/hipster-phase adult can even get that disease

also theres another side of tumblr, (which isnt rlly another side but its almost EVERYWWHEEEREEE) where theres a lot of defensive people who give bad and unnecessary attitudes... they rlly need 2 calm down tbh....

i have a bunch of undertale stuff and there was this one person that was driven to suicide because they didn't like a ship. luckily they didn't die, but they attempted suicide.

Oh thank goodness they're fine!!

I just hope the people stop attacking them soon.

I don't have an image, although I did see a case of a girl jumping in front of a car, and the people on Tumblr accused the driver of assisted suicide, even though he was literally just driving and had no idea what was happening. A YouTuber made a video on it, and one line that stuck in my head was "if she jumped off a building would they have blamed the building or the street?"

Tumblr is a dark dark place . I remember the one girl who said that you arent a feminist if you aren't vegan .
