Miceordie a dit : And it's that level of bullshit that causes really poor player-admin interaction, because I wouldn't be surprised if that case holds true for many ban appeals/contact attempts. Not to say it's unjustified, but admins take staff word over player word to such a high degree, that they honestly never care if the player has an actual case, because you're just one player. To stop for one player, when you have hundreds, maybe thousands of new players swarming in each day across multiple communities(note I say players and not accounts, cause accounts mean nothing to me, since there's X million accounts, half of which are probably dead alts/old forgotten accounts). You don't know if they have an actual case or not. You may find this hard to believe, but not every mod is actually good at eyeing out hackers. There's a difference between a moron who flies around the screen, a player who uses very subtle teleporting to look like he wins ping races, and somebody with an awful lot of connection lag who gives off the appearance of flying/teleporting. Not to say that that's the OP's case, I don't honestly know the case; I'm just saying that staff isn't always right when it comes to that. |

Iluhchez a dit : The relationship between the Admins and the Players is far too weak. I notice them only discussing with players when they are attacking the admins/staff or making them "Look bad" The sad thing is that most users don't care about that, and are suck-ups to the admins either because they are too stupid to notice or they don't know how much of a poor job they have been doing. |

I've already discussed this on the NL forum aswell. My opinion is that the admins simply can't handle the large amount of users, and the problems that come with them, regardless if they are or are not interested in it. The new community managers therefore are a good addition to the admin team. I think all problems given above are due to the massive amount of work all admins have, so the fact they expanded their team can only be good to maintain the workload and to solve the problems efficiëntly. Although an extra coder wouldn't be a wasted expense either. Also I've said something similar in the new version thread about why I think the priority is with a new menu rather than with solving the actual problems. Anythin a dit : Edit: I think this answer in the Staff FAQ thread applies to this discussion thread also: Maskulino a dit : |

According to CFM, we have approximately 21 million accounts. Around 4-5 million of those are being actively used I guess. That means that thousands and thousands of unban requests come to the devs. Of course, the situation is being alleviated since 3 CCMs have come within the last week, but imagine having to go through hundreds of e-mails containing unban requests. Then you'd have to sift through them and determine which of them are made by 10 year olds who were idiotic enough to hack in Room 1 while the admins were holding a party there and which of them are genuine. It's no wonder they take so long to answer some requests. You'd have to be rather lucky for them to respond within a day, even if you wrote it properly and legibly. I hate it when people say that we 'kiss up' to the devs. We don't worship them, it's just that we don't antagonize them with every little mistake they make. |

Ummm... sorry if my reply makes you all mad... but its just that... LOTS...no, TONS of e-mails and contact forms are sent to the Admins everyday...And they are not supercomputers so they cant read everything at once.So basically, everything all piles up and then some of the emails are either real cases or just someone who just partied hard stupidly at a place full of moderaters. And so yea, the admins have to spend LOTS of time to check every e-mail, and it is really annoying to spend lots of time loading an e-mail just to see it is spam/ stupidly written thinggies. So some of the emails, INCLUDING the real-case emails and the spam emails, are overlooked and because of that, you ragers are mad... i know. Anyways you shouldn't have kept such an easy password to break/forget.... or even hack in the first place. |
