Can we add some of the map making options in totem making like reducing friction?

Having special properties for shaman objects defeats what the purpose of shaman objects is meant to be. If you want more/less restitution, try using the chocoplank/iceplank skills in your totem.

If you'd still like it to be a feature, suggest it here.

There is a skill which makes the planks have more friction, and there is a skill which makes the shaman have more friction. There is no skill that reduces the objects' friction.

how long do you get banned for giving away accounts? my bff got kicked off his own pc for giving away public accounts.. 0~0

and do you get banned for interacting with hackers?

The only thing I can think of that will get you banned for interacting with hackers is if you're gaining an unfair advantage along with them, like if a hacker is summoning clouds in a private bootcamp room with you there.

Only the admins would know but they wouldn't tell you. Personally I doubt that we are going to see those dreadlocks. Btw there is another style of dreadlocks in the shop already.

I learned the hard way you're not allowed to share account info (i assumed it was allowed as there are many well known "shared" accounts and TFM doesn't police them) when I shared a public account's password in the cafe. I only got a 1 hour mute for it though, not a ban

There's a large difference in sharing account information and using a public account.

The game rules explicitly state not to share account information.

If you're playing on a public account, you'll be subject to any of the sanctions that the public account gets, and a lot of people use public accounts for things like hacking, so keep that in mind.

I don't understand TFM's stance on it though. Yes, using a public account is different from sharing account information. when i joined (dunno about now, not checked leaderboards in years) on my original account and checked the leaderboards it was a known fact that the top 2 accounts were "shared". (cos i asked about how they could possibly have that many stats in a relitivly short timescale). Surely TFM understands that for a "shared" account to exist at all, and more than one person to have access to it, then people HAVE and DO share account information. If sharing account info is so against the rules, why not block the accounts that are known to be shared? i assumed it was allowed as the biproduct of sharing account info (the shared accounts themselves) were known by staff, and not policed/punished in any way even though their account info was in circulation. By allowing these accounts to continue you set a bad example and people assume the sharing of acount info is allowed

maybe i'm wording this badly, i do this a lot on forums. But basicly I'm saying if sharing account info is a bannable offense, why are accounts that multiple people know the info for, and the admin know this, not blocked/banned too?


**EDIT** or are you saying that you're not allowed to share account info ON TRANSFORMICE but it's fine to share it elsewhere as in word of mouth, facebook, etc. So I could make an account, physically tell my friends the password but never type into the chat on tfm "this is the info" and this is all fine? this is the only logic i can think of. Cos if sharing account info is totally against rules nomatter how or why you share it, then as soon as multiple people have access to an account it should be blocked as sharing of info had to happen for those multiple people to login?

Sharing accounts with someone else is fine, there's nothing wrong with that. What there is a problem with is when a shared account breaks a rule, everyone that's used it is responsible and can be held accountable for its actions. The other issue is sharing account information publicly which isn't allowed as it's sharing account details as outlined in the rules.

Heck, even the Map Crew uses a shared account for some things, but it's kept private and secure.

ah, so it's just sharing account info -publicly on transformice- that's isn't allowed? That's cleared up a lot of confusion on my side. I always wondered why you came down so hard on the illness but not the symptoms, this explains it :)

hi, i've been banned ip banned for 7 and i think it's unfair for a whole 7 days?? especially with the ip ban?? yes, i admit that i posted something that i shouldn't of on the cafe, i could've got muted for a long time... but getting banned for 7 days? i admit to having no life because i'm not in school because my mom is trying to get me into homeschooling and transformice is all that i have. the cafe was dead as well and i thought i could've posted it, but i couldn't. a 7 day ban for just one inappropriate thread on the cafe? i've seen others do worse and only get banned for less than what i've been banned for. can you short the ban or at least let me on my account but mute me for 7 days instead? sorry if i sound rude :(
