You're making an awfully big assumption there. In the nicest way I know how to phrase this as humanly possibly; you're going through the motions of drawing without applying any feeling, thought, movement, or expression. You start with the circle because you believe thats how all art starts, and you draw the head in 3/4 view because thats just how it is, then tack the eyes on next because you always do, careful not to apply any measurement between them. Then is the nose and then is the mouth and then is the hair, always the same, because, but -- Oh! This time... A sweater and horse ears. Is that all? I look at that drawing and all I can think to myself is... Huh? There's nothing... There. There isn't anything there. Its eyes are screaming into the void. I can't even see how this might have been draw for fun because the structure is painfully chained and locked into place like architecture; you drew the ears last didn't you, like some desperate escape effort your heart didn't know it was making.

What. How. Why. These are the questions you need to ask yourself every time you sit down to draw, if only to avoid drawing for oblivion. Anyway, hope that wasn't harsh, I was tying not to be but I have literally have no idea.

If anyone would like to show me how to reword the point here in an way that wouldn't upset swirlfire, be my guest.

Could someone critique my art?
I need to know what to do to make my mouse look a bit more nicely formed. I need to find out what proportions I need to fix/work on.

Your line efficiency is getting a tad out of control Milkybum, you gotta reel that back in.

Lala; Legs are bigger than the arms, even in quadrupeds, which is why your mouse seems lopsided.

V I can't magically see the unedited version of a comment

What people dont want criticism for is usually the part most in need of it

Can I have some help with this please?? It's my first time attempting an actual piece by painting digitally, and thus far I think it's come up alright until I realize I have no idea how to go about painting the shorter fur on the red panda + mouse as well as how to add the fur patterns on both of them (specially fucked up by merging the layers so far on the red panda, I'm not sure how I'll be able to edit the tail with the white & orange pattern)

Some things I do acknowledge but arent too bothered by, like the leaves on the branch theyre on-- I know that it should have more leaves and that the current ones look quite round and soft, but I really don't mind that right now. Advice on it I won't turn down, but I might not change it in the end

Update from this, I've been working on it a bit more casually now, still havent finished
http://image.prntscr.com/image/30c714fb56d04abfa418da314c6a8315.png

I would love some input on how the fur is going (the rear I think is finished, the head isnt just yet) and the hoodie, specially the hoodie and its shading and whatnot. the hood part of it looks really odd, but the darkshading was all I could think of so that the hood would be a separate object. Any critiques are welcome though ;w;

E/ I'll probably post this just once more in the future once I feel it's completed, but I wanted to post it right now so I can fix any mistakes before I go farther into it. I'll probably just live with the tail being one color, too, though... i couldn't find a way to fix it when I went this far into it and I don't feel like redoing it, but I definitley know what to do so it doesnt happen again in the future

You'd have to find someone else to go in depth with the picture, but for now I can tell you a few things I noticed
-The ears are attached too far down the side of the face
-His (?) left leg is much shorter than the right. This is really hard to figure out from a front perspective (I always have the same issue), but my best advice is to try making the bends in the joints clearer. If you wanted it to be straight, you'd have to raise the left side of his hip significantly higher than his right (but you really shouldn't do that because the right leg is too bent for a straight left leg to not look awkward)
unless you want to change it completely. In that case, you could try stretching it out instead. I think it would look a bit more interesting, but it may not fit your original view of the picture? idk
some ballerina level skill
not 100% but you get the idea
http://i.imgur.com/RPetMfE.png

-The tail is pretty fat

idk how much this really helps but there you go??

Did you know? The surface area of the hand is roughly equal to the surface area of the face-- put your hand over your face and see for yourself how closely they align. You may find your problems are not just a hand too small, but a face too large.

Hi artists, critiquers and passerbyers ! :^)

I make transformice music videos. I assemble mice, boss them around and compose a video. I even have a thread! Lately, I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro CC - I'm totally new to that http://i.imgur.com/fRe8E.png And I would like to have some fresh pair of eyes to give me feedback on what's good and what I could have done better. I know that the amount of youtubers/video creators here is not as great as the amount of drawing artists - or so I assume - but some feedback is better than none, right? (That sounds so cheesy)
Anyway, I've read the OP:
Satash a dit :
Currently we will be only critiquing drawings as the majority of the critiquers have all drawn something at least.

I'm not sure how restricting this is ^ however, youtube comments are usually not very constructive - so if there's anywhere else I can go and attain some advice, then please send me on my way... though I've found there to be.. or rather.. not to be.. many places with the right target group - transformicers.
aka
I don't know where else to go. Should I drag myself away?

I would love to hear your thoughts on this matter.
