ANNOUNCEMENTS


  • The #DIVINITY staff team would like to thank and apologise profusely for such a late announcement.
    As many of you may have noticed, we had quite the problems when the module leader, Gekkeiju, disappeared for quite some time and unfortunately, will be unable to come back until sometime next March. Until then, I, Coralbee, will be mainly in charge of the #DIVINITY map rotation and its submissions.

  • With his permission, I was able to recruit our newest member of the #DIVINITY staff team, Slipprs! Many of you may be wondering why he was able to join without applying (more information on the next bullet point), and the truth is, Gekkeiju was the first person to initially ask him to join. However, Slipprs refused at the time due to his own personal reasons. Since then, we have always had an open spot for him until the day he decided to claim his position.

  • Last but not least: many of you may have overheard or seen the little snippet announcements that I have been sending within the public #DIVINITY rooms. As promised, the #DIVINITY crew applications are open! Although the #DIVINITY crew will not have any powers within the room, they will have the abilities to participate in map-review discussions as well as having the power to influence which maps enter the rotation and whatnot.

@7178751 - Yinjackson - Not only does this map look severely unappealing, it's lacking the necessary indications to show the shamans what they can and can't build on. Many were fooled by the water within the ice, and most builds didn't even need the use of the other grounds for stability support.

@7270775 - The dynamic ice ground can be glitched using anvil spam but you can even cannon the mice through the ice.

@7275020 - Gepardziu - The cage range is too permissive. We already have a better version of this map in rotation. Generic.

@7280845 - Gepardziu - Same as previous map only with a different cage location (generic cage map with swing).

@7286443 - Gepardziu - It honestly just seems like another typical swing map that doesn't offer anything new or interesting. It's too bland for my tastes and the aesthetics of these maps could be worked on.

@7292681 - Yamenzoro - Although the idea is nice, I don't believe that ice should be the base component in order to create a foundation for your builds. It would also be good if the timer was fixed in an area where the shaman's name doesn't block it, therefore decreasing the pressure put on the shaman due to not being able to see.

@7258392 - Yamenzoro - Regardless of the obstacles in place, the shaman will find many ways to cheat through this map.

@7288343 - Sourisgogo - It all just becomes a ‘who can remember how to do the solution’ kind of map. Mice can interfere with the build super easily, and there’s no need to build to the hole.

@7312130 - Ratarocks - It's too easy to complete this map with a quick build. The clouds get in the way of building a base for a more permanent build. The clouds are completely unnecessary to complete the map.

@7317174 - Jjrules - The map is quite bland despite the multiple ways given to create many different builds. It is unappealing, however, and is quite boring to build regardless of which way the person chooses to build.

Its overall aesthetic is more or less non-existent, especially with the use of the cloud grounds at the spawn point. There is also a hidden roof that can collide with mice, which is something that needs to be indicated.

@7359266 - Jackyyip - The overall balance between the narrowness and emptiness of the map is a little too inconsistent with each other. The amount of space at the bottom directly collide with the narrow space the shaman gets to build. Although it does give you enough space to go wild with your builds, it feels as if it may just be too much for a spawn foundation/base such as what was intended.

@7359423 - Shetthat - Confusing grounds. This map needs indication that all grounds have collision. Generic and bland.

@7361560 - Amelizz - The dynamic ground's mechanics break easily for any form downward force directed towards it (for example, a cannon). The map’s intended solution is easily breakable and the button can be touched by accident during building.

@7335588 - Bingtong - Despite the amount of care taken in ensuring that the map doesn’t look all that confusing, it still doesn’t erase that initial confusion that shamans get when attempting this map.
If the grounds are changed to make it less confusing, it may be considered.

@7348663 - Zenitxh - Bouyancy build without any ways to properly secure shaman.

@7339842 - Zenitxh - The map can be completed using balloons and anvils only and is almost impossible to properly secure the build without any friction on the cloud.
