how do you make the sticky ground x treadmill in the beginning of this map @7295774 and the sticky ground that makes you bounce up in @7443061 |
0 | ||
Anotherbob2 a dit : You can do a ground like in @7295774 by using a treadmill ground with a mass somewhere between 0.0001 and 0.001. You can add another low mass ground so you don't get sucked by the ground. With a friction of 9999 it does the acceleration effect on this ground when you have enough speed towards it To do the same ground as in @7443061, you can use a sticky ground once again, but this time with a higher mass, like between 0.005 and 0.05, so when you stand on it you don't get sucked by it until you have a lot more speed, and you'll get repelled by it once you're inside because it'll act like a normal ground. Also make sure the ground is high enough so you can't go under it |

How to make an oldschool art map that is up to P5 standards? |

Bhvana a dit : How to make an oldschool art map? Stick to just wood, chocolate, ice and lava grounds. How to make an oldschool art map that is up to P5 standards? If anyone knew how to I'd imagine they'd have numerous oldschool P5 map perms since it doesn't take anywhere near as long as spending days drawing hundreds of lines and getting a simple mech to finally work properly. Making any style of art map to P5 standards is quite tough, you're expected to come up with something which has an innovative gameplay while also incorporating art into the map in a clever way, and just because you choose to restrict yourself to only using 4 types of grounds while trying to achieve this doesn't mean P5 standards are going to drop. P5 standards have rose since the early days of TFM when many of the oldschool art maps were made, and chances are some of them wouldn't be accepted if they were discussed today, but that isn't a reason to remove them because while they may not be top-tier maps, many players would miss those maps after having played on them for many years. Having said all that, don't be discouraged to try making oldschool art maps for P5 category, we do see the odd oldschool art map here and there that manages to impress us, and we do appreciate a good oldschool art map, but it certainly isn't an easy feat, nor should you look to old P5 maps to compare your own maps, that'd be the wrong mentality to have. |

Anotherbob2 a dit : 1st Question: The difference between P3 and P13 is that P3 (i think) is harder than P13. 2nd Question - Submit it to the category it most likely fits. |

Maustrax a dit : By default the art you make using viprin's drawing editor will all be linked to the ground with the Z number 0, so if this ground has been set to dynamic and is able to move, the art will move too. You can link the viprin line art to separate grounds to have parts of it move diffrerently from one another, and which ever number you link the art to on viprin's editor will be connected to the ground with that same Z number. Bhvana a dit : None that I know of. You could maybe try something with invisible grounds, but it would depend on what exactly you're trying to achieve. |
