hipstered a dit : This is one of the xenophobic and ignorant things I've ever heard. Firstly, people with certain ips cannot chat in E2, that includes Portugese. Second this system is most likely limited to each server having its own president, and even if it isn't, what difference does it make if someone is from one place versus another? |

How is that xenophobic lol? You do know that BR is the most populated server so it's pretty expected that if there's no server limitations, BRs will likely take most of the spots, right? The irony is a BR user agreed. They posted above you. (Ola Rest) Dernière modification le 1427304780000 |

Haruhitastic a dit : Is there a problem with a 'br' taking slots? English speakers are not entitled to everything. |

i love how everyone's talking about who they'll vote for without knowing what the duties and powers of the positions are.... which leads me to my question. What is a "president" what is a "mayor" (in transformice terms) and how do they differ from regular players? |

xenguy a dit : I'm pretty sure the issue is going to be most BRs are young, and will spam and if you tell them no, swearing will happen. This happens with every community, but since the Brazilian community is so large, it seems amplified. I don't think English speakers feel entitled to anything. I speak Portuguese even so if anything one would think I'd "sympathise." It's more of a "this should be for everybody, not just who speaks the loudest, spams the most and gives the most consumables if you vote." I still rely on Vinxa's argument: There's not supposed to be any politics talk. Why are we going to have an election. |

Haruhitastic a dit : Oh yes, I have no doubts about spam, that's probably the biggest issue that could arise with this. I was simply saying that a br taking a slot would not be the problem, it would likely be moreso the spam that could come beforehand that would annoy people. And I still don't understand the point of this election system, sounds exciting but the drawbacks seem to overweigh the positives here. Spam, talk about politics, ect. Not sure how I feel. Imma just wait a bit and see how this works out. |

where does it say we're not allowed to talk about politics in tfm chat? I only see "ism"s (racism, sexism, agism etc) discriminatory and derogatory terms that are "banned" on the game rules post? I ask cos when we were having our indi ref i quite often, and publicly, tried to start up political debates on the EN2 chat. they never came to anything (trust me to assume this playerbase was mature enough for a political debate....) but i was also never warned/banned/muted for it Dernière modification le 1427308200000 |

Watch the game burn.... Much drama. Much Bans. Much Spam [EN] [Mouse1] Vote for Papyjo! [BR] [Mouse2] Vote for Papyjo! Watch Just watch... Can't wait for the EN server to become a half br server / this was a bad idea. But good at the same time. But bad. |

anyone able to find this "rule" about no politics talk yet? Or is it just a rumor/assumption? |

but as proven in the whole target-audience problem rules do change in tfm, and i've found nothing anywhere on politics, and I openly discussed them around 18th sept 2014 without any disciplinary reactions. I asked for the rule to be found/quoted. You've given things that happened to other people years ago as proof, sounds more and more like an assumed rumor to me |

I checked the rules and it's not there, however I recall it being there in the past. If they were, then I would've quoted it long ago, however all I can cite is action taken to other users. It also is not in the forum rules and I do know for 100% fact it IS against the rules on the forum. So something's changed and we weren't updated, or what. |
