The amount of saves is too high.
How about:
Easy: 10k saves
Hard: 7k saves
Divine: 5k saves

Your numbers aren't that far off from mine, however like I said in another comment, Celestial mode is supposed to be more difficult than divine, which would make more sense for a more experienced shaman.

»» Since you'll be losing some major skills needed in catching last-minute saves, i'll be introducing a new feature called "Celestial Points" where you gain a point every time you fill up your Celestial mode bar which will allow you to refill one skill that you're missing and so forth.

What is the point of limiting shaman skills if the shamans have the ability to regain them with these points? Once they have gathered enough points they can use these skills again and the challenge will be gone.

I understand completely where you're coming from, it doesn't make sense to just have the ability to gain them back. Some people were not satisfied with the original idea of having no ghost objects, and to be truthful, it would be kind of a hard thing to do with most maps. So I took the next best idea I had in mind and used it as a possible alternative to see what would happen and if it had any potential.

I asked around and I am only realizing that it is not the best solution after all, so i'll be doing some more brainstorming today for something even better and unique.

Update!

Some people had very different opinions about the direction of this shaman mode.. so I came up with something new that might satisfy all parties involved.
a dit :
»» With the lack of good skills suitable for last-minute saves, shamans would have to come up with a more stable way of building without losing too much mice in the process. That being said, I firmly believe that Celestial mode should have a good, unique perk worth building on, also with the added challenge that is supposed to come with a more difficult shaman mode.

Celestial mode will now come with two difficulties. Normal Celestial mode where you will only lose the skills said above. Then there is Impossible Celestial mode where you'll lose all ability to summon ghost planks, also with the added challenges from Normal Celestial mode... This allowing players to pick which difficulty they would like to play on. Impossible Celestial mode will come with its own set of titles as well.

Opinions?

Ok this got me interested, This is something totally new, And a very cool idea , To be honest.
first this give the advantage for the players to show off
And i like it, Since A801 is looking for those "to show off" (Like the fur they added with cheese and the Bootcamp coins).

Also i got some few questions about this new Update you made:

Are the normal Celestial mode is going to be an introduce to the impossible celestial mode?
The saves for the Normal celestial mode are going to be the same for the Impossible celestial mode?
Are The players are free to pick which mode they want to use "Impossible / Normal Celestial mode" or they Turn into impossible celestial mode "automatically" after an amount of saves were gathered in the Normal celestial mode?
if you said "will come with their own set of titles" Did you mean You are trying to create two modes in one?

I am glad you're so interested! As of right now, I don't know most of the details yet however I will say this. Players are able to pick from either normal Cel or impossible Cel but obviously they'd have to unlock impossible by playing on normal Cel first (I still have to come up with the digits needed to unlock impossible still). Normal Cel and impossible Cel are basically two difficulties all in one shaman mode, but both coming with their own set of titles. I am debating on whether there should only be one spot on the profile for both modes or if there should be two separate ones for both difficulties and if impossible mode should come with something more rewarding, perhaps i'll change the Normal Cel xp points down to 600 and the Impossible Cel xp to 750, make sense? I still have a lot of determine seems how I just thought of this very, very recently.

Update!
I edited an image (horribly) to show an example of what the mode and difficulties would look like.

So early yesterday morning, I announced a new Celestial mode difficulty option that would allow players to chose what kind of challenge they
wanted.

I have spent the next day and night trying to come up with a solution for both difficulty modes that will satisfy everybody. Normal Celestial mode and Impossible Celestial mode will share the same spot on the profile because they are only two difficulties of one shaman mode:

25,000 / 15,000 / 7,500 / 0000

Another thing, Both difficulties will have their own set of titles so once you comment your title ideas, let me know which category they belong to. Please note, Impossible Celestial mode should have a more tough and cool feeling to it than Normal Celestial mode because well, Impossible is way more difficult than normal obviously.

In order to reach the next difficulty, you must first reach a certain amount of saves on Normal Celestial mode first before you can unlock impossible. The amount of normal Cel saves you need before you can unlock impossible are:

25,000 / 15,000 / 7,500 / 10,000

Another thing I'd like to mention:
Bugembo a dit :
Are The players are free to pick which mode they want to use "Impossible / Normal Celestial mode" or they Turn into impossible celestial mode "automatically" after an amount of saves were gathered in the Normal celestial mode?

Yes, once you have unlocked both Celestial mode difficulties, you are allowed to freely choose which one you want to shaman on forever
Bugembo a dit :
if you said "will come with their own set of titles" Did you mean You are trying to create two modes in one?

Technically, they're two difficulties of one shaman mode, meaning Celestial mode is only one shaman mode such as normal, hardmode, and divine. Yes, both difficulties will have their own set of titles because titles are counted as rewards at certain saves. By allowing titles on both difficulty modes, players will most likely play on both to try to gain them.

I firmly believe that Impossible Celestial mode should come with more rewards, so once you have reached a certain amount of saves on that mode, you'll be able to gain a new cartouche, exclusively for Impossible Celestial mode.

What are you opinions on the huge change to this thread? Do you like the new idea or do you dislike it (explain why if you do). All opinions matter to me and I will try to satisfy. Thanks!

You're going into so much detail that you're forgetting the bigger picture. You're now basically suggesting two distinct shaman modes rather than one, the only thing that is the same is their name.

Also, you're taking the impossible mode very literally. Have you ever tried making a build without using any ghost items? It's not impossible but it is highly dependent on the map you get. This will render a lot of maps impossible, more specifically maps that have no solid ground at the bottom of the map.

It may sound like one shaman mode but it is not, merely two difficulties of one shaman mode. It may sound ridiculous, but in reality, you just have never seen anything like it on the game because it has never been done before!

Also, you make it sound like you don't have other things besides planks when in fact, you do. Reasons I made this entire mode based for level 70+ is the fact that you have enough skills to build good. You have springs, runes, balloons, and much much more. I decided to take the time and do a few examples in my utility. Please note that I did !np p4 on all of these maps and didn't pick out specific ones:

So you see, with the proper practice, I am very confident that shamans can adapt and exceed without ghost planks as much as I did.

But Celestial mode itself is already a difficulty level of being shaman. How does a difficulty level within a difficulty level work? That's just making things unnecessarily complex, no? Why not just upgrade them to seperate shaman modes, that would make things more clear.

Alright, I suppose you have a point. But can you produce these same builds in a room with 25 mice who influence the build with weight, rushing, consumables, etc? It's easy to make these builds when you're on your own, but when there are other mice involved it becomes a whole different story. And did you make these builds within a 2 minute time limit? I can't tell from those images.

I understand where you're coming from about how complex it actually is. You're right, why not just make them two separate modes? The original idea was supposed to be one shaman mode all together, but plans changed. I asked friends and players from different rooms and about 45% of the majority of the players I asked, did not like the idea of having no ghost planks at all. So I decided to add two different difficulties, one with ghost planks (normal Celestial mode) and one without ghost planks (Impossible Celestial mode), this allowing players to choose which they would prefer because both modes add stats to the same area on the profile. Only reason players would want to play on impossible now are for the titles and the cartouche rewards I added so impossible Celestial mode wouldn't be abandoned.

When divine mode was released, I am positive that shamans had really hard times adapting to it. Do you think divine mode came with all of those building techniques at first? No! Players had to adapt, learn new strategies, and more and I believe strongly that most shamans failed horribly for the most part. Then something happened.. After about a month or more, players learned how to build on divine better, they knew how to keep the build stable, and how to keep the mice from dying. Players adapted and then they exceeded. Obviously it would take time however eventually people would adapt on Celestial mode too.
