Is the 2nd boss' HP dependent on the number of mice in the room? I noticed that in large rooms (30+ mice) we barely to any dmg and on maps with less mice we did more. |

Orbofheart a dit : Boss's HP does not scale with the number of mice but the bullet damage does (boss is harder to kill, same thing).... Barberserk asked Bolodefchoco about it and he said the bullet damage = 2.5 - (Number of mice/25) |

Giud you gossip... Hehe. Anyway, yes guys, the more players in the room, the less damage an individual player does. So. Let's save you all the frustration and give you some mini guide on how to complete the second part of the event, the hardest part by far: First, make sure you have completed the first part of the event. Then find a few other friends that also have completed the first part, that gives the badge. Now you are ready to take on the boss. To get the orb, you need to kill him 5 times and stay alive until after he dies, to go and talk to Santa. Either spacebar or clicking on him works. Anyway, here is what you need to do. Make a private room (for example type: /room *vanilla lua) and then set a password (something like /pw lua) and invite people that are already at the second stage of the event. You need minimum 5 people for the lua event to come. It is recommended to have between 10 and 20 people in the room, if they are more, you might experience lag. When a new room is created, the lua event appears after 15 minutes. Then go up and kill the #*$@% wizard. And after that, create a new private room, kill the wizard again etc. Enjoy the orb and your peace of mind. As for the fight itself, you know how to teleport on the summit of the mountain, do the gestures laugh, clap. sleep and cry, in that order, next to the elf. You will see some fireworks if they work, don't do it too fast or too slowly. Once on the roof, try to avoid the meteors falling from the sky, they have a wide range when they explode, but they need about 1 second before they blow up so you have time to run away. Try not to be trapped on either corner. The boxes work like cannonballs, keep tapping the right arrow multiple times and they will not affect you much. The bottles are the nastiest, often the best way to avoid them is just to wall jump under the edge of the mountain and wait for the bombs to finish. Or just be very very fast and avoid them as best as you can. When the wizard is about to die, he turns the lights off, you can't throw snowballs for a while and he spams meteors or bottles. It's a good idea not to be on the top of the mountain just then, if you only have 1-2 hearts left... It would be a shame to die so close to the goal. The problem is, when this final phase starts, you can't jump off the edge of the mountain, you get teleported back up. Anyway, after a while your snowballs work again and you can finish him off. Good luck. Try to organize, find other people that need to kill the wizard on the mountain and cooperate. Dernière modification le 1577481000000 |

I've added an experimental formula that is only effective for the second part of the event. Instead of using as base the number of mice in the room, it will use the number of mice in the room that completed the first part (min: 10, max: totalMice) It means, mathematically speaking, that bullets will cause stronger damage in the second boss now. Since life is not a bed of roses, the general formula that used the constant 2.5 now uses 2 Dernière modification le 1577485560000 |

Bolodefchoco a dit : I don't know... accidents happen... DMs disappear and never get found... Ahaha. Ok I am joking, this is great event, quite challenging, I admit. We haven't had a boss in TFM as hard as the damn wizard for years. Don't nerf him too much eh? |

The event is brilliant. Rewards are well done. I'm a little saddened though by how hard it is to defeat everything in time. Completing the event might be quite tricky, especially for someone who doesn't have much time to play and wait for the map. I'm not saying it should be the easiest task, but I wish it could be a little more reachable. I love the orb, I think it's the prettiest one in the game and I fear I won't be able to get it. |

Mateuszxd989 a dit : Blackouts are common in developing countries, they inspired the creators of the module... :D Ok, cruel joke, hehe. It's just to increase the difficulty, the immersion, the fear factor. You can say it's a cheap scare, but it works, it's effective. |
