Left as is: @7102397 - Viptoto - Personally, I don't like maps that only have seemingly only one obstacle. I understand that you tried to have multiple ways to complete the map, such as being able to move the ball or build underneath it, but if you could kindly please make it evident that you can attach objects to it to avoid further confusion would be great. Besides this point, the map itself is very simplistic and doesn't have much going for it, could we make a better use of this space, so it as tight or a forced path for the Shaman to take? @7098988 - Pjfsamora - I love the design of this map, as it isn't something that I generally see. You made nice use of the space and offered a decent challenge for the Shaman to have to encounter, however I do see a problem; all of the variations you put to complete the map aren't balanced as one will be more commonly used than the other as it doesn't take as many planks nor as much time as the others. Also, the space is rather tight when it comes to the area around the cheese, could we fix this as well? Please private message me for further discussion. @6999868 - Pratton - This map is quite on the simplistic side of things and doesn't offer any challenge whatsoever for the Shaman. This goes hand and hand with the Shaman not being able to be creative with this map nor be resourecful, there isn't much going for it. P1 will be momre than enough. @6895963 - Sekui - Thank you for applying the edits suggested to you, however looking at this map for the first time in a while, it just looks overwhelming to have to handle and for lack of a better word; a mess. Perhaps it'd be best to start over with a new idea or concept? There's not space to use for the Shaman or mice to move around which gives the atmosphere of being too crowded, which is the main issue that I happen to see now. @6320189 - Migrange - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH @7102780 - Rkubi - his map definitely has a cute simplicity to it, however I'm not too fond of how it can only be (or mostly, for the most part) completed by the use of a ramp and a long bridge, it's going to end up being repetitive and unexciting to have to build for entirely. Could we add a challenge to it? Something to force the Shaman to be resourceful or be inspired with how they go about with the map. While you do add more challenges for this map, please keep in mind not to make them too overwhelming, we want to keep a open mind and have as many variations for the Shaman to take as possible, while most of them being at least balanced. @6219380 - Hyouraan - I appreciate the fact that you tried to add multiple solutions for the Shaman to take, however something you must keep in mind with P4 is that with the use of portals, this takes away any former challenge that the map had going for it, as it can be completed in only a few steps. There's nothing exciting nor interesting to go about for this map, perhaps you could try out with a new idea for your next map? @6999619 - Tohpy - I like how you took into consideration the space with this map and how the Shaman could interact with it, all while adding multiple ways to complete the map. However, the map itself seems to lack an appropriate amount of space to be comfortable with. It's too tight and in the end may be a little vexing for Shamans to have to encounter. Could you make the vertical ice (the upper right of the map) a bit smaller? @7055342 - Maxislow - I honestly do not see this map becoming more than a P1, it's too simple and feels over-barren, without much thought needing to be put into it when it comes to completing the map. It's very linear, and therefore all of the solutions you have will be mirrored, or repetitive for lack of a better word. For your next map, try and put yourself in the mind of the Shaman; you want to have options for the map, a few ways to complete it so you don't get stuck completing the map the same way over and over again. They want variety, but also a challenge. @1121345 - Danielmago - There's a vastness to the map, one that makes it feel so empty, without much going for it (generic). I can appreciate how you attempted to offer a few ways to complete the map, but none of them really provoke the map in any way to be creative with their builds, there's no challenge to it. Could you add something that would take good use of this space, but nothing too vexing for the Shaman to handle? A few obstacles here and there, and perhaps lift up the center ground above the mice so that there's some more space as it's a little tight currently. @7065258 - Kwf - I like the idea you have for the map, but there's not much support for Divine mode Shamans especially, even with the added boxes that can have objects attached to them. I'm not much of a fan with defilante death coins, but seeing how they aren't too vexing or overwhelming, we can look past this. The main issues I see that the map itself may be too difficult over all, with the minimal support and clouds covering the hole and cheese, it can call to stress from the Shaman when they have to build for the map. @7103480 - Anabooleta - There's no challenge to this map at all, and as a result, it won't inspire or provoke the Shaman to be resourceful with their builds, it's just a simple bridge and a ramp, to need to complete the map. If you could add more challenges to the map so it won't be so monotonous to build for and have some excitement to it? That'd be great. @7103527 - Junota - I don't really like having ice, especially where the Shaman spawns as it can lead to frustration due to them not having a stable area to build. The map itself, the grounds feel a little randomly placed, in my honest opinion. With the excessive use of clouds as well, it more or less forces the Shaman to build in a certain path and doesn't give them much space to move or build from. @7080904 - V_21 - I don't see this map being more than P1. @5633227 - Noobsones - It's not a pattern I'm used to seeing, regarding the layout of the map you have put. There's a very nice balance to all of the space you have put for the Shaman, however some problem I have noticed during testing is that the mice seem to believe that they can make it to the ground to the left of them, however they cannot make it, resulting in some death. Once you fix this issue, message me and I'll P1 the map. @7103672 - Papelio - For the completion of the map, the only thing required is for a bridge and two ramps, there's not much of a challenge for the Shaman to go by the wind you put, it's a little frustrating for the Shaman to handle since it's so strong. If you could remove the wind (or at least make it more weak) and make a better use of the space given by adding more paths/variations for the Shaman to use to complete the map other than the ones I had stated, would be grand. It's just so simplistic and easy, there's no fun to it. @7103754 - Tarciomaneri - There's nothing exciting going on for this map, other than a very long build and a balloon to get rid of the plank you put to cover the cheese. I only see two distinct ways to complete the map and both of them are only by bridges. The map will especially be overwhelming for divine mode Shamans as there isn't much of a stable ground for them to build from, either. @6922887 - Poteerfotter - It's a very interesting concept, one that I'm not familiar with. Anyways, unto the review. Most of the Shamans will be confused due to the lack of the portals, which is a bad start. There is also a problem with the overwhelming amount of defilante death coins and clouds that you have implemented into the map. I understand that you implemented crevices to offer a few other ways to complete the map, but it only results in the same fashion build, which can be a bit overwhelming. Please remove some of the defilante death coins and make it more evident as of what to do for the map, so it'll be more clear and easier to understand. @7101594 - Vlump - AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH @6660265 - Thegbc - I don't see this map being any more than P1, unfortunately. @6987179 - Framnm - I don't see this map being more than P1, unfortunately. @2393174 - Aksale - I don't see this map being more than P1, unfortunately. @7062461 - Thermitez - There's definitely only one way to complete the map, and if there isn't any other way will be very similar or of the same fashion. There's a concerning amount of lacked space that you gave the Shaman. The map can virtually only be completed by various amount of ramps, due to this making it very repetitive and monotonous to have to build for this map. @7103512 - Sirakaba - Nearly the same with the first map, however this time there's an excessive amount of free space for the Shaman to go by, and while there's a few distinct ways to complete the map, they are all quite the same, therefore making the map repetitive entirely. Could you implement a new concept to your map, or add more obstacles so that there is a variety for the Shaman to choose from regarding the paths for them to use and how they can build? We don't want it to be mirrored or the same, try and be creative! @3712555 - Neymazinhor - I'm not that quite fond of the Shaman placement, as it just winds up resulting in a long, unnecessary, bridge-like build. Is it possible to add more of a challenge or more obstacles to it? From what I see, it's easy to tell that majority of the Shaman's will just do a long bridge build and only a ramp. A way you can do this is to add somethings along the bottom and center of the map, force them to make use of all of the space they are given, rather than just using specific areas, if that makes sense. Please message me if you want more information. @7104291 - Loonworld - Same as above. @7091999 - Vitordiaspas - Having only portals being the way to complete the map definitely isn't the way to go for P4 maps; there is no challenge, no creativity and nothing to make the Shaman resourceful whatsoever. Please use another concept or idea for the next map you submit. @6554656 - Flyingwr - This map is quite generic, unfortunately. There isn't much to build either, only a few planks and that would be all it takes to complete the map. The entire right side will be untouched, rendering it useless, when you could of definitely used this space in some form as an addition to the map, rather than neglecting it. Once you make better use of the space given to you, and add a few challenges to the map as well, please feel free to submit it again. @6506049 - Bataatiinha - I don't see this map being more than P1. @6971563 - Gobbek - The map doesn't have much of a challenge, especially with the added box you have put that can have objects attached to it, it'll only take a few planks to complete the entire map, therefore rendering it without challenge nor anything to inspire the Shaman to be creative with their builds, to be different. @7104776 - Norgnus - Can be completed without a Shaman P1'ed: @5900019 - Zombiewd - I don't believe that this map has changed since the last time I've seen it, however I may be mistaken. Anyways, I appreciate how you put two distinct paths for the Shaman to use regarding the completion of the map, and how it isn't too difficult to have to handle, as it's quite straight-forward with the mechanics of it all. Nevertheless, having only two specific ways to complete the map (both a bit similar when it comes to how the Shaman would build) could make it a bit repetitive. P1 will do alright. P4'ed: @7097992 - Ldn - I actually am quite fond with the map, typically diagonal grounds are frustrating for P4 Shamans to handle as it limits their space to build, but you seemed to find a nice balance. There's many ways to complete the map, all of them different and balanced, more or less. P4.will do! Ignored: None Yep, I'm back! I'm sorry for the wait and for not explaining earlier what had happened, or the reason why I was leaving for a few days. I had found out I had cancer and needed to undergo some treatments of chemotherapy and have a procedure done as well. I am still recovering, and it probably won't take much to figure out that I'll be very tired for the next few days, perhaps into weeks as my treatment continues. Nonetheless, I'll need your help improve on your maps, do the best you can, I believe in y'all! Dernière modification le 1491351120000 |
