Map Crew FAQ

I got a map P1, I thought if I'd edit it, it would be nice for the Map Making Contest.
I asked Juliiien for P22'ed the map and I'm editing it to submit in contest.
But, I don't know if i can do it, or would I be disqualified?

If he only P22'd it, its fine. You are not allowed to submit for upper rotation (P3-18) during the contest.

(I know I'm not aqvas but still :p )

Is there a possibility of a P6 branch category? Mechanism without Shaman. Since there are quite a few Mechanism maps which in itself is Mechy but with a Shaman, might spoil the mechanism (or the Shaman isn't needed either way).

Mechanism without shaman is a category map crew have been asking admins for since the categories were first added. Unfortunately, I think it's safe to assume now that this isn't going to happen.

I've got a question, really I don't know...
Mapcrew is a member of mapcrew, because his/her name is blue AND he/she always review some P# (thanks)
But I don't see he/she in the list, WHAT?

That might be why it doesn't appear in the list.

Won't that just be P7 then. I know it's mech but if you think that some of these maps do not need shaman then submit to P7. There were a few mechanism maps that were permed into P7 since they didn't need a shsman. For exmaple Tulio's blade map. Changed from P6 to P7. Anyways If you think your map doesn't need a shaman then just submit to P7

Ideally there would be a no-shaman option for any map regardless of its PX category, not just for P6. Unfortunately that doesn't seem like it will be implemented anytime soon, so as Beachking said, some mechanism maps will end up in P7 because having a shaman would be highly detrimental to the mechanisms.
