nekodancer has been unsupported for quite some time

doesnt the song works anyways? only complications ive seen that some encounter are some quite annoying bugs related to videos, but in general, theyre working iirc

I've been resigned to the fact that music rooms are kinda dead. I've been trying to get people to join my plug dj but it just doesn't happen rip.

Are we ever going to get a reason from the developers why they can't/haven't fixed this yet. It's nearly a month, a little communication of this issue would be helpful. For example, is the issue impossible to solve (idk much about Flash development but I doubt that)? Or just quite hard because you're trying to retrofit stuff.

I wonder why YouTube decides to do this now after a whole year...

I agree completely with you- just something from someone would be nice, instead of trying to wait for everyone to forget about it.

It wasn't YouTube. YouTube stopped supporting flash a long time ago- TFM just hasn't caught up yet.

im sure they will figure a way to make a html5 youtube plugin.patience play you can still share music to friends they can still see the song titles on chat and player and find the song on youtube themselves

but anyway i never liked the music room all i wanted was to spam others

It's kind ridiculous how lost the developers are right now... At least we think they're lost.

What do you mean by that? Who will be able to see it and who won't? Do you expect us to believe it's random? I mean really, what you're basically saying is "hey, if you're lucky enough, it will work for ya, if not, idk".

I personally find it ridiculous that in more than a month the staff has been able to add 2 events, new items, redesign the friend list, but couldn't come up with a solution to this problem which largely affects Transformice and basically shuts down Nekodancer.

Well, to tell you how the patch worked... Got online, tried to play a video. Got the loading circle and then just grey. I figured it wouldn't work for me, chrome and flash aren't exactly the best of friends. However.
Someone else plays a video about cats and yoda- and I see it, they don't. Cue general confusion. But I was like 'fine, maybe it needed to warm up?'
So I try to play another video...
Crashed the entire Transformice tab where I had to close it forcefully, and the last things I see in chat are 'can't see it'. Very interesting patch pfft- but at least it's something and I'm happy that some users get to enjoy it at least! Thank you TFM staff for trying, and for saying something pfft.

What's the criteria for "someone". Country? Technology of standalone (i.e. some browsers based vs. atelier's Adobe AIR one)?

Edit: Oh nice, works for me now (using my own standalone, gets flash from the standard IE Flash library)

its actually working for me, huh
(standalone, win10 and up-to-date adobe AIR if you guys want some extra info for no reason)

If anyone plays a vid its a grey background with a buffering circle..

No matter what browser or even with the standalone version it still does not work the arrows freeze and the video wont play. And apparently the best response we get is "hurrr it might fix for some people maybe hurrr" seriously?
