I've seen them pop up way more often, even in the official en2 v1 and v2 rooms, accounts created as recent as November 2019.
Does anyone have a solid answer on this? Is there an exploit of some sort that allows people to make new accounts with the +, or is it just coincidence that users have moved their accounts over from the older game?

When they stopped porting accounts from Extinction.fr, it meant they won't let you merge any newly created accounts created on Extinction.fr. For example, you will see users with a + that registered in 2019 or even 2020. Those usernames existed on the Extinction.fr database before they stopped merging accounts. Their date of registration is the day that account was first logged into Transformice, hence the + symbol now in the username. There are tons of Extinction.fr usernames still unclaimed and that's why users can still register them on Transformice.

a question about + accounts, not because I have one but more of curiosity
if you changed the name of a + account, would you keep the + or would that disappear?

i dont think you can change name on the +, and even if you could, why? o-o

You can change the name of + accounts. Since they are accounts made before the # system was made (therefore, they have the #0000 tag), you can even change the name for free. You would lose the + though.

Can anyone tell me some map codes for maps that let the shaman use the trampoline? Vanilla or not, I don't mind, as long as the map is easy enough to use. I want to have a map to showcase all my custom shaman items at once, actually, that's why. Should I ask on the Map Editor forum?

You can only contact the sentinels about this issue since they are the ones that moderate the forums while moderators deal with players in-game. If you are reporting something inappropriate. Make sure to find the player forum profile and click the username and click again "report." Obviously, you have to put a comment for them to know why you reported the player.

Answering my own question, hehe. This is an incomplete list of vanilla maps that let the shaman summon trampolines: 6, 12, 36, 56, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 115, 116, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134.

i've set my laptop a day behind, and that seems to have fixed it, but i shouldn't have to make adjustments to my own laptop to make something work due to an expired certificate.

It said the same to me, you don't have to do it all the time, once is enough, at least on my browser.

yeah you see, ive used google chrome for so long that i thought i'll just have to do it once. turns out, for opera gx, they absolutely do NOT want you on unsafe sites i guess, because as soon as i told it to proceed anyway, 5 seconds later it blocked the website again and i had to tell it to proceed anyway again. i guess it depends on what browser you use.

yep, i posted this at 6am, fell asleep for a bit, and now it's almost 11am here, my laptop time has been set back to normal, and it looks like the certificate is valid again.
looks like they resolved it within the first 3-4 hours or so of it expiring. now that's fast.

Alright, we avoided yet another disaster, haha. Now, about that totem editor undo button, and the shaman inventory shortcuts... No? No hope eh? Right.

Can someone find the link to the old forum post about Extinction.fr? If I remember correctly I think it was just the OP finding out about the game and then a bunch of people commenting their usernames on the game and playing together.
