As I see it. Saying "there are religious people that could be offended if an other player waved a pride flag, there fore we should not use such a flag", is surrendering the strive to sexual freedom to ideas that consider sexualeties other than hetero as sick ones.

If you're referring to my posts, that's definitely not how I meant them. I specifically meant them in the case of closed-minded and/or immature children (worth noting the average age of a player nowadays is around eleven or twelve) who come from religious families or just generally closed minded. Moderation deals with enough bullshit as is with kids saying "gays are bad people" or "gays are unnatural!"
There's no need to add to their work load.

A few people don't make a whole. I'm pansexual and I understand the concept of people liking different kinds of people. "I find it really offending" you assume a few people make up an entire movement.

This would be a great idea! If people are offended, they don't have to use the flags. I guess they'll still see them but hey, who cares?

I don't get the reason why you would want this, there are many more flags that should be added then, LGBT isn't the only ''special'' thing around. There are flags for pirates, there are people whom don't agree with the flag of their country, the UK has 4 flags, while only 1 is being shown, etc. etc.. LGBT shouldn't be an exception, it's not a country, just like the others.

The reason is quite obvious to me. There are very many people around the world that are sexually oriented other than heterosexual. They do not meet insults from every person on the street, but still enough often, that some of them feel so bad, that they commit suicide. "Whats the fuzz? Nobody cares if I say FAG in the chat." Words are powerful. I would be very surprised, if a person would commit suicide if not being allowed waving a pirate flag.

Why pride flag? As I see it, maybe the pride flag is not specific to all non heterosexual communities, but it seems to "sexually deviants" as a whole, like Google is to search engines and Youtube is to vids. How many heterosexuals know about the flag of bi-sexualls? How many heterosexuals does NOT know about the pride flag? To me, the pride flag is a symbol, for all non-standard sexualities, striving to be accepted as they are. Witch they still are not completely. Maybe i have some facts wrong. One I am certain about, every person should be totally free to have affection feelings to whom ever AND not being judged as sick, disgusting or what ever else negative.

There are so many people, that condemn non-heterosexuals more than they condemn dictators and their generals.

Are you low key implying that people who want to end their life because they can't fly the LGBTQIA+ flag on an AS3 mouse game? Ehm... if that's the case, they're very mentally unstable and should seek help...

A single flag isn't gonna change the minds of everybody about LGBTQIA+ lifestyles as you keep implying and acting like it will. If anything, people who decide to fly those flags will only receive more harassment.

No, I didnt mean what you say. I simply ment that many of those people feel so bad in every day life because harassment of their "different love", that I want to contribute my support for them. It is classic. "The world will not change from this one small thing".

I agree with you that waiving with a flag would have a high risk of increasing of insults and other negative reactions. At the same time, I see it as when example tobacco companies dispute new restrictions. "If they react, then the object to their reaction have valid substance."

It all comes down to a single choice. The exact same way as all other choices in the life. The pragmatic way (adjusting to the surrounding and choosing the most "efficient?" way) or holding on to once beliefs, moral compass and stand up against the destructive aspects of the human nature.
