It's surprisingly common to get now. At least for me it is.

apparently it switched rarity w/ badges, so now the cookies are common and the badges aren't.

uhh, you shouldn't get hearts from slots; they come from opening fortune cookies. see the above link for how to use hearts.
you can get the skeleton skin by winning the jackpot or by trading with somebody who has it.

Just another stupid event, TFM never listen and support their players, same stupid event everytime: maps only work in big room, maps take forever to load, items are all sold in shop and can't get through events. How "awesome!". No wonder not as many people play the event as before except a majority of Brazilian stat paddlers. Now Haruhitastic, come and throw your non-sense bla bla here "noone forces you to play the event", the event is supposed to be fun and enjoyable with which this game could no longer provide their players, I complain because it doesn't carry the purpose it's supposed to, and not because I have to play it.

This was announced and people told by admins several times that it'll happen - Atelier 801 needs to make money and giving shop items out for free in events ruins their main source of income, if they kept doing it they'd be bankrupt and there'd be no Transformice.

Yeah, and I'm going to stick with that "nonsense." Nobody forces you to play the event. You're a human and you have freedom of choice, so as long as it's not a requirement, you can choose not to if it bothers you so bad.
You're buying the items in the shop now because Transformice needs the money. That bothers you too? Don't play, or consider buying fraises to help support the cause and get them out of their hole.
The event wasn't the best, even I'll say that. It was luck based. But it was a good step, a unique idea (with a trick or treat concept) and it was unique and well planned out. It wasn't finishable in a few days a la 2010 or 2011, and offered a bit of challenge to everyone.

I don't know what "purpose" it's supposed to carry outside of being an event to be enjoyed and gain titles and badges. I don't really see much complaining when compared to past years, in either the EN or the BR community.
So, I don't see where your complaint has any basis. I'm pretty sure you're complaining because you don't like the event. Not because it doesn't suit a "purpose."
