I keep getting errors when I confirm the purchase.
I wasn't charged and when I relog, for some odd reasons, I got those fraises. (From those attempts I tried buying them)

The past week I played around 30 hours, 1 day even attempting to play around 10 hours straight and I still can't buy fraises. I have no problem cashing in other games. If the time required to cash is over 30 hours, I don't seem this is reasonable.
Why was this thing implemented in the first place?
If it's causing so much trouble for so many players, can we just remove it?

The system was implement to counter Steam related fraud, where people managed to acquire Fraises without paying for them through vulnerabilities in Steam. Since these frauds usually come out sooner or later, people tend to use brand new accounts for them. For that reason these measures were taken. I have no idea whether or not it's working, or how many people are affected precisely. Whether it will be removed is entirely up to the admins. You should know that I forward any serious complaints from this thread to them.

To get a refund you will have to use the contact form. Use "Payment problem" as category for this. There is a help thread set up here. Please make sure to fill it out as completely as possible: it can take up to two weeks to get a reply, so if the admins have to ask for additional information it can take a long time to process your request. You'll have to trust that Atelier 801 actually wants to make money.

• First, Steam determines whether or not an account is trustworthy or not. For this it uses the same vague mechanisms as described here. If your account meets that condition, you can go ahead and purchase.
• Because Steam apparently is strict a lot of people could not purchase (leading to several pages of complaining, see earlier), a second condition was added: Time played. This gets confusing to players because it only counts the play time since the condition was implemented, so even if you have played for years already, you will need to play a bit more to be able to purchase through Steam again.
