So confused right now. I'm trying to buy fraises, right? Well when I do, I get the "Transaction error, please try again later." It's strange because earlier my brother was able to purchase $5 worth of fraises. So now I'm thinking, do I need to use a different computer? Make a new paypal? Use a different network? Like I've been trying all day. Tried different browsers, tried the standalone, etc. Not sure why this is happening. I talked to a mod earlier who suggested that I clear my cookies+history but that did nothing. If you think you can help, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Forgot to mention that I'm not using a prepaid, I'm using my dad's debit card which is linked to the paypal account.

Sounds like you've tried a lot of things already. Did your brother use the same card? Besides cookies and browser history, you may also look into clearing your browser cache if you haven't already.

Unfortunately, i'm not familiar with purchasing fraises with pre-paid giftcards. You can try this method posted by Icewolfbob, which was in reply to someone else having issues with a pre-paid giftcard:

I used paypal and manual way to pay and the transaction didn't work. I just used the prepaid giftcard on paypal to buy deltas on chatlands. I can send you the transaction bill from paypal if you want.

I recommend creating a PayPal account, adding your prepaid gift card as a payment method on this new account PayPal account and using the account to purchase fraises.

I'm having the same problem other people are having with not being able to buy fraises using a debit card. I've tried buying different amounts of fraises, using different browsers, linking the cards to my paypal, using two different Visas and Mastercards; all I ever get is the message saying there's a transaction error. I tried buying fraises with the money on my paypal and it let me do that, and I've bought other things on other websites with both debit cards and had no problems, so it has to be a problem on Atelier 801's end with accepting debit cards.
Are there any other options?

I've asked the admins about this. Apparently not every country that is supported by Allopass / HiPay is also authorized for mobile payments to A801. This means that unfortunately, it is not possible at this time to use mobile payments in Malaysia. Of course, it is possible to obtain Fraises through one of the other payment methods.

I'm looking into this. It's possible that only credit cards are accepted. I will post back when I know more about that (I don't own a credit card myself).

There are a few alternatives: You can use a credit card, you can use mobile payments and you can use Steam. For Steam, you need to run Transformice through the Steam client. You can download Transformice for Steam here.

You need to confirm any payment before you are billed. If you receive an error, you most likely were not charged. If you were charged but did not receive anything, please follow the instructions on the first post of this thread.

Hello! Based on your report as well as others, there may be problems with purchasing through Paypal with debit cards. I cannot confirm this as of yet, but for the time being unfortunately you'll have to try an alternative method as I don't have a solution.

Possible alternatives are: Using a credit card instead of a debit card, using mobile payments, or using Steam. For the Steam payment option it is required that you run the game through Steam and that you have sufficient activity (hours played) on your account.

no, when i was still trying to buy the fraises (i gave up awhile ago), it was my first time buying anything on a801 with the card.

I have not been able to buy fraises since February 14th, 2015.
I use a debit gift card, it's brand new, it's got 50 on it. I have used multiple cards to try to get fraises but none have worked. It works for many other websites, but tfm is the only one I can't use it on?? I go through the process of filling out the form, and I get the confirmation screen on the game, and when I click confirm, it says "transaction error, please try again later." Have you tried opening transformice using the steam library? I have this kind of problem sometimes, but I think it's somewhat kind of disconnection to steam. So either way I have to open steam then go to library and click "play" transformice.
