Your thoughts on shaman skills being removed from Vanilla? |

I think vanilla rooms should keep skills. It can help both new and experienced players, and some people use skills in vanilla rooms for easy cheesefarming. But there does look like there's a challenge to being limited to only the basic shaman items and no skills, which I probably will eventually grow to like. Maybe there could be vanilla rooms that enable skills and vanilla room that disable skills be their own separate things, instead of one or the other? |

Redistributing is a thing. If they want to keep that no skill thing then they should probably make a new module. |

Very awful idea. Make a new one module or room other than taking away the shaman skills from the vanilla. |

I don't like it. It makes it very hard to build and even get around the stage. |

IF YOU ARE ALL ANGRY, HERES A SUGGESTION START PLAYING NORMAL ROOMS AND GET GOOD |

I strongly approve. Also: please remove Restorative skill (tape) and arrow anchoring from divine mode. Wait, ugh, the padders are going to flood the normal rooms now, aren't they? Dernière modification le 1512169740000 |

Megazan a dit : skills severely harm new players' ability to learn to play the game. once they aquire one or two busted skills they never learn how to actually build; they simply use those skills as a crutch. this is most notable with duct tape. |

I enjoyed playing on vanilla with my skills. Honestly I felt it was less hectic and not as crazy as the non-vanilla rooms. It was a way for me to unwind when having a long and hard day. Now I can't even relax. I don't like playing normal non-vanilla rooms. It honestly feels like I have to force myself to play non-vanilla if I want to use the skills I worked towards through leveling. It is unacceptable, especially for people like me who are used to playing a certain way. As an added, now it only makes it harder on ppl who have epilepsy. Especially those whom, like my dearest, can have an epileptic episode from sudden changes. My dearest saw his skills where gone and freaked out and I had to calm him down and get him off the game in fear that he would suddenly go into convulsions. Not a joke as it is a serious matter. Now before anyone says "well he shouldn't be playing games" Think how hard it would be for you to give up something you enjoy doing and have done for years. Not only that but it is very uncommon for games to suddenly switch is game-play on people. Honestly, to take something away that was part of the game for some time, is unheard of, and honestly a little cruel. |

Yikina a dit : As unfortunate as that is, there is no way the admins can take that into account or even acknowledge such an existence when considering to add a change to the game. As the developers of the game, I do think they have a right to test something out even if it doesn't cope well with the playerbase -- at least this change is only for the duration of the event and could be taken out early if the community reacts that badly to it so I would wait and see what happens. Announcement a dit : |

Grimmaro a dit : Ah I see. Thank you for letting me know. Though I still think they should at least put something when you start the game stating they are testing something new. It would help those like my husband with sudden changes. I know it may not happen but still would be nice. |

Old TFM players who are used to play without skills will like this system while the newbies who can't play without skills will find problems.. Especially with divine mode! |

I think the community will adjust accordingly to the change, some people may stop playing vanilla altogether while others, who are used to having no skills, will play it more often. Also, I suck at divine without my large planks... T-T |

I quite like it! It makes sense for vanilla to be vanilla. "Why not remove it from normal mode instead?" I'd like to argue that in Normal mode, maps can be unpredictable, especially crap maps. They are more complex and introduce different concepts not shown in Vanilla, not to mention all the different categories of maps being played in the rotation. It doesn't hurt to have shaman skills in Normal mode, because the map could break, it's probably too difficult, etc and it seems appropriate to rely on your shaman abilities to save your mice. |

It's actually pretty funny in my opinion, as people can't favo anymore in Vanilla which is usually favo central in E2. Looks like the favoers are already causing a riot kkkkk |

I like it a lot, it'd be even better if they disabled consumables in vanilla too |
