Once a map crew member has passed their trial and becomes a full member, they are free to vote on whatever categories they are comfortable with. However, they are told that if they do a poor job of it someone will yell at them and if they don't get better at it they'll be asked to stop reviewing that category. (and yes, this has happened. I make sure everybody is comfortable enough with each other to yell at each other and not get offended)

Is it proper mapmaking etiquette to make a map, export it as a tribe house instead of exporting it to P0 rotation, (therefore it doesn't get ratings and won't get prematurely removed) then submit it for the perm you made it for? Or is this frowned upon.

What is the Map Crew?
The Map Crew is a staff team that maintains the quality and consistency of maps ingame, and offers feedback and reviews of maps to members of the map-making community. The Map Crew's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Periodically reviewing all maps posted in the Map Submissions subforum.
• Putting good enough maps they want to perm up for discussion with the rest of the team.
• Discussing maps that might be good enough with the rest of the team.
• Perming maps that the team agrees on.
• Protecting maps (P1) that they see fit.
• Holding official map-making contests.
• Offering feedback to users ingame and on the forums.

What is the Vote Crew?
The Vote Crew is a team made up of members that assist the Map Crew wherever possible. Members of this group must stay anonymous and names kept private, have no ingame powers, however are allowed to be under the age of 18. When a member of the Vote Crew reaches 18, they may have the opportunity to become a full Map Crew member. Their duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Reviewing maps posted in the Map Submissions subforum.
• Putting good enough maps they want to perm up for discussion with the rest of the team.
• Discussing maps that might be good enough with the rest of the team.
