@shamousey remember the update that made everything bouncy grounds? What caused that and is this placed on no shaman maps? Dernière modification le 1421994060000 |

from now on i shall be playing bootcamp as such i see it as my own way of paying homage to the amazing and absolutely non-disappointing updates this game continues to release anyone who wishes to experience a unique style of playing with completely new controls altogether (its like playing with legacy southpaw and look inversion enabled at the same time.... all the while being blindfolded! now if that isn't enough diversity for you, i don't know what is), all you have to do is press CTRL+ALT+arrow down! Gilcatmey a dit : I disagree regarding "normal rooms, or even racing" not being skill based and just about memory, luck and ping. While ping plays a factor to your spawn time and hole time, if you have a skill that's above average, you should be able to be faster/better than the majority of players. Regarding luck, there is no one minigame where luck isn't involved, depending on what you view "luck" as. Oh yeah, a simple example regarding skill vs ping would be; Say you're fighting against some person in #fight, you're lagging really badly, but since you've had fight experience and skill you can easily dodge cannons and kill the other person effortlessly with your aim. Same thing applies. But if they're better than you, then they're better than you (don't know if there's any other way to say that) |

I really don't see what the big deal is about these maps having to be reversed. of course I can see newer players that registered to play and go to a bootcamp room to solve their path and have a moderate record. To find out eventually that they switch, well this is basically a better idea in my opinion to test our skills and interests upon a map that is just vertically switched. Sure many others are pissed and others enjoy this. For me, I'm indifferent, I'm not a sucker for bootcamp despite my stats, I just see that Tig and many others made a decision to switch it up a knot and make specific maps seem harder, but also allow the player to complete it both ways. This topic, however, dropped upon the real subject and defined upon skills and other subjects that are simply off-topic. People do not need skills to perform a map, that's just silly. :) |

Since I haven't seen anyone ask this question so far I will ask it myself: what about the new players? When I first started playing bootcamp, one of the most effective ways in which I accustomed myself with the mode as well as the sets of skills required to play successfully was familiarizing myself with the map rotation. This particularly helped because the vast majority of the maps were far too difficult for me to complete and I can imagine much of the same of many new players who play bootcamp regularly. For someone who is familiar with neither the bootcamp rotation or the reverted map feature this would be confusing at best and a cheap, senseless trick at worst, but in either case it still adds nothing substantial enough to be worth it. |

Imagine playing a game of mario while all the levels would have a 50% chance to play reversed. HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE? There's a good reason games don't do that. |

Prr a dit : Imagine any of I Wanna Be The Guy fangames where levels would have a 50% chance to play reversed... I think we can compare IWBTG games with Bootcamp and Racing rooms. Why just admins didn't make individual rooms for mirrored game mode? For example, /room mracing or /room mbootcamp. A feeling that they never think about consequences. Just make updates and don't care about player's opinion. How many BAD updates they cancelled?.. Dernière modification le 1422384960000 |

I like this new update, it really takes you out of that automatic mode when playing the same maps over and over again. I also don't quite understand all this complaining. Other than the frequency of mirrored maps, how is this update any different from adding new maps to the rotation? |

anythin a dit : Because they're the exact same maps? Or would you expect people not to notice if, say, half of the bootcamp rotation was deleted and replaced with mirrored equivalents of the other half? |

I cant believe how admins treat players like retard pieces of shit. They make these bad updates (basically every update past year) and when people try to tell what's wrong with them, they wont even join the conversation. Just silently shoving carbage down everyones throat. Even fanboys will eventually figure out you are just trying to rip off as much money of them you can and then it will be end of this company. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens before start of 2016. |

Honestly these reversed maps are a pain. I don't understand why this update was implemented. |

Frustrating, but provides more challenge. Lets face it, there are some maps you have memorized (especially the uteruskick map), reversing it has given a new perspective. But it's still frustrating. |
