I don't like this suggestion because it's based on someone's impatience, rather than a misunderstanding. There's only so much you can type in one sentence that the time it takes to write an entire, full sentence should be worth the wait. Don't get a reply within 10 seconds? Wait a little longer. No reply within a minute? The person is still playing a map. No reply within 5 minutes? You can assume they're afk. What's the benefit of knowing if or if not someone is typing to you in such short time span?

Generally it doesn't take that long to get a response in Transformice when having a regular conversation. Mostly, people are more focused on what they're doing on a map during their turn than they are more focused on replying. I understand if you're having a more sensitive conversation however this just is not really needed. I like the feature on iMessage however I do not really find it fit for a game. No support

i like the idea but anythin and suprodo do have a point about it.

Personally, I make a lot of mistakes when trying to respond and a lot of times just give up half way through the response, I'd rather people think I was afk rather than just giving up on the conversation.

This is pretty cool, and I like that fact that its in the form of an icon rather than text.
